Some really interesting questions as usual Grant, and of course concise and to the point answers from the master. 😉 Well done guys. Looking forward to the Deus2 experiences from everyone in the New Year. Exciting times guys. 👍
A flood of recent XPDII reviews, as we've all been waiting for, but I'm glad this one took a different angle. Grant, I'm guessing you didn't get a pair of the bone conduction headphones? They supposedly weren't even available yet, but I see that one RUclipsr does have a pair. I'd love to potentially use them on land, and not just the water....although the fact they are wired only could be a bit of a detractor. It's also too bad their isn't some sort of bluetooth connectivity option to allow use of a variety of BT headphones and earbuds, on land, of course. I have a great pair of BT bone conduction headphones I use almost daily, that would be nice to use with the XPDII. I get that XP need to sell headphones, as well, but if someone has made the initial full package purchase, there should be leeway there. They could even potentially make it an unlockable feature with a specific code, during a firmware upgrade.....'course the option would have to exist already in the hardware, which is most likely not the case in the XPDII.
Unfortunately I did not get the bone conductor headphones. I know some boxes had them, some did not. I did get the water kit though, so as soon as it's warm enough I'll be going in the water. I've never used bone conductors before but have heard great things about them, especially if you're a little hard of hearing.
Gary, I just got my Deus 2. Question, where does it show how to install the mini-lanyard on the remote control/stem? I’ve looked the manual over and can’t find it. I want to put it on before taking it out, thanks. I know I’ve seen a video of it but can’t recall where, or find it again, thanks
I read that Reactivity is the only setting that affects depth on the XP Deus. My question is what is the purpose of setting the discrimination at 0? If you are using a 3 tone program, this eliminates tone 1 (iron) and all signals will come in as non ferrous in tones 2/3. I like to hear the iron tone.
My question to Gary: Why dont have the Deus 2 the iron tone in the Gold Field mode like the ORX? IAR is not really the game... 2. Is it possible to run a HOT Program like the Deus 1? This is my absolute favorite program on pasture, i want to hear the iron and the ground!
@@hubsi5263 In one of Gary's latest video he said the Sensitive FT unfortunately is not the same as D1 Hot Program. Other programs he said that won't transition as well are the Sonar & Sifter.
great video .im doing a lot of research on this deus 2 .I'm thinking of getting one .I have the Nox 600 if i buy this one is it a big upgrade from the Nox 600
It’s the same has deus one the only difference too me. You can take the deus two under water I have all three machines and there is very little difference so don’t throw your money away on a expensive machine that is totally water proof because that’s all your paying for too me 👍

Looks good
Thanks for watching!
Nice video! I follow along👍 greetings from Holland ☝🍻
Will the headphone puck on the Deus 2 work on the gray ghost headphones?
I can't speak for Gray Ghost but I'm guessing no, not until they come out with something specific for the D2. But I may be wrong.

Thanks for watching! It does have iron tone. And Sensitive FT is the Hot program :)
@@GrantHansen thank you Grant! That means we can run with disc at - 6.4?

I think you’ll be very happy with it! I’m here to answer any questions you may have.
Sometime in the future is Deus going to make the Eliptical coil for the Deus II?
when the release?
I think late December/early January, depending on where you are.
I have a orx system x35 11" and 9" hf elliptical, So all I would need is the dues 2 remote?
No, it won't work. See on XP site they show what can be used, but not much.
@Yakena1 great thank you, I'm not ready to plop down 750$ anyway I guess.
Gary what about ground balance does D2 need it as the D1 doesn't that aften please
It depends on your ground conditions, but so far to me it seems like it doesn’t need any more or any less than the D1.
I like your last name. What state are you in?
Best last name ever! I’m in NJ.
Why the they use such a low resolution lcd screen ?
It's actually really bright and clear. Perhaps it doesn't come off that way on the video.
I notice that to, 2022..and use a MARIO BROSS typo ??? Put a higher definition screen..or..improve the 1990 look of typo.
