Just today I tried out door dash in a time I had scheduled. Was really looking forward to this. I was scheduled for a half hour and sat and waited in a parking lot in a hot spot. I didn’t get one order popping up. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to sit and wait for a certain amount of cumulative time to put in my dues so to speak, to be able to get an order popping up? I also set up my dd account a year or two ago and never used it. Because of this my red card was expired. So I ordered another one. I might have clicked the lost card option but I think something popped up asking me to order a new card. Could this be why because I ordered a new card when my old one expired? Since you mentioned in the video that ordering a new card can make door dash not trust you with orders. However my red card was expired so I don’t know if this would count as me saying it was lost? Im not sure it’s worth doing anyway if I sit for a half hour AT LEAST in the future to just get one order. 🤷♂️
I’m curious…Since you ride an ebike… what do you tell DoorDash when they ask what vehicle you drive? Do they have an option for bikes? Or do you have to lie & list your car, but then use your bike instead? 🤔 🚲 🤷♂️ 🚗
Im a Dasher and when I signed up there were options to put in a scooter or e bike as your transport. I think your market has to support it though. Not all markets will make it possible without a car but nah he doesnt have to lie and say hes using a car.
How do you message customers during the delivery? Also, is there a way to see what you're delivering before you accept the order, if it's obviously not food?
Use the tutorial in the app you can see those items you are looking for. To get to the demo order, go to account in the app, then the question mark in the top right and then select demo order. To help now though, it looks like you can’t see that info until you have accepted an order and then also clicked on “arrived at store”.
Hi, thank you for your informative videos with these tips! I noticed you live in OC, California. I live in HB and wanted to get advice on the best area’s in the OC to dash with good customer tips, and areas that mostly have houses, not apts. I just quit my 9-5 job recently and need some extra advice. Thank you!
I’m in the same situation, and I don’t know much about doordash, other than what it is that you do, but I’m guessing.. that it is going to be a problem, depending on how far you have to go on bike, to get to the restaurant, than getting to the persons house.. and by the time you probably get there ..the food is gonna be cold 💀 but.. uhh yeah idk? But I guess it doesn’t hurt to give it a try?
My app looks nothing like yours. I'm wondering what kind of phone do you use? I'm guessing an iPhone. I use an Android. Also the other day I got something about resetting my acceptance rate as part of a pilot program. I agree to it not sure if I should have? I'm kind of new to dashing. I signed up a couple months ago and then stopped when winter got really bad in Wisconsin. Picked it back up a couple weeks ago. But honestly with gas prices and the cheap skates around here I'm not sure if I'm going to keep doing it even as a side gig. Sorry for the rambling I'm just wondering about your app because mine looks way different LOL
@@BestDasherAlive fantastic brotha now in June 2023 I got an EMOVE Cruiser electric scooter 🛴💨📦 goes just under 30 mph & just under 50 miles range/mileage I deliver in a big hub DTLA (downtown Los Angeles) I broke into my 1st $100 day (4+hrs Dash time & 3+hrs Active time) I remember your advice about ordering styrofoam cup holders I be using the restaurants cardboard cup holders and got a big XL deluxe red Door Dash bag 🎒 & I carry a reg door dash hand bag inside too I have a powerful led headlamp on my helmet ⛑️🪖 & powerful portable mount led lamp on the scooter handlebars for the night time🌃 & I pinch the google maps navigation to prevent from going around and going the long way around
How do you make the battery on your ebike last longer? Do you dash till it dies and go home to recharge then go back out etc, just dash till it first dies or etc?
if youre in an area that allows for ebike/bicycle then i don't think you need a drivers license but i cant confirm that bc i inputted a drivers license and car when i signed up
Well let me just highlight that Miami is full of entitled people trying to get something for free or discounted. It is very easy to get thumbs down here. Including double or multipke orders that goes a distance. There's always a pis'doff customers whose last that will give thumbs down.
Man you deserve much success with this channel. Best tips I've found as a new dasher for sure. You're chill and articulate. Thanks
The ‘using your decline options algorithm trick’ 100% works! I’ve seen a tremendous difference in pay per order! Thank you daddy dasher 😂🙏🏽🤑🤑🤑
💪
If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!!! Don't forget to get your bike bc gas prices take a huge hunk out of your pay. 🚴♀️🚴🚴♂️
Bro, your vids are like gold homie my dashes are so much more profitable now that I follow you
Nicely done, Guv'Na... Safe travels brother, GOD BLESS!!!
Love these videos man
Very helpful walkthrough of the app, thanks! 💯👍

Half hour? You gotta dash longer than that

Can make good money in all zones around here with good strategy
What times are the best to dash?
Link a vehicle: I'll only have a ebike or bicycle and no driver's license but have identification. Is this going to be a problem?

dash til it dies and recharge yes. ALSO just get a second battery and swap them out so you can keep dashing while other battery charges

apple maps cause i like it more
I just looked up my Acceptance Rate it's 4% 😁
Do you dash a lot?
@@BestDasherAlive No I'm mainly on Uber Eats but I have DoorDash running all day. I usually get a few decent orders from DD per day but most are trash

Does acceptance rate still not matter after the updates?

A 100 live crickets for doordash…
I thought I misread it at first, but… her gecko was hungry
