The APP is horrible, confuse. It should be easy and simple click. ACCEPT, DIRECTION, ARRIVED, PICKED, DIRECTION and DELIVERED. Anything else should be on the option. Door Dash APP is simple and very efficient. Who did this APP to UBER hate what he is doing.

first day first time I never pushed go button and it gave me the order to deliver gave me person info i delivered a difficult first delivery .Lousy directions in a 20 building apartment complex 3rd floor stairs. GPS sent me 1/4 mile away from building ? You would think they would send deliveries video as part of the process as in California there forced to give you safety videos? They sent me a text to a guy who as is own channel on some tips?

After 3 orders gave up on this ridiculous App. Doordash and GrubHub App are very easy to use. Uber Eats does pay good, and I like how they keep the messages in the app. But, is a frustrating mess

The app isn’t accurate for times. It will tell me 4 mins but in reality its more like 8. My gps also doesn’t move as Im driving so I use my regular gps.
I got scammed by the Hungry Jacks, I order what it was on the menu but, when it arrived on time, I only had Coke lmao, so I refunded it and got money back, do you know how to properly report missing item? Cuz, they didn't really help me instantly, I wonder why I had to wait couple days to get my money back, I now message the delivery drivers to double check before they come to my door, it works better, I think I should just go to shops myself when I can but during rainy day is a no no. I think about Uber, they lack on security proof or whatever it was called, but hey, it's cheap n fast! I might become a delivery one day.
If the bag is sealed, there is no way for the delivery drivers to check your food. They cannot open the bag and tamper with it for sanitary reasons. All you can do is call UberEats and say you had a missing item so they can refund you.
Hello, I am new to Uber Driver and have a question. Today was my first day and I went to one of the busy areas and waited for around 3 hours. My map was showing orange but I wasn’t getting any requests. I did notice some of the other drivers getting requests for Walmart deliveries and returning for more later. Is there something I am missing as far as getting requests? Thanks for your time! :)
I'm really frustrated. The app had me pick up two orders. I went to the first and everything was fine. After the first delivery there was no way to tell the app that the delivery was made. I was able to tell off the app where my 2nd ddelivery was supposed to go but it wouldn't show me the address because I couldn't confrim the first. I thought something was wrong so the instructions were to shut my phone down. So I did. It took over 20 minmutes to log back in. Finally a guy walked out and I asked him. I was at the right address so I dropped it off. Now it's like my first delivery just dissappeared. It never gave me credit for it. I have no idea what to do now. I'm hesitant to deliver again.
As long as you still deliver after waiting. Uber Eats has extra payment factored in for your wait time. You can report the food is not ready/missing as well.
Great video and very straight-forward, however, he didn't rate the restaurant or even discuss that aspect of the process (?). Then, sadly enough, he only earned the paltry sum of $4.24 for the delivery (excluding his wife tipping him $5.00). Wow... is that enough earnings to cover gas, tires, a car payment, insurance, tires, etc.? Sorry, but this $4.24 appears as sorely deficient.
If you do the weekends and do 7 or 8 hours u can definitely make between 200 to 250 in one day... That's included with tips. Also as the days are getting hot as hell I prefer to work during the evening til 1am... Ppl are still ordering during does hours. Just be careful.

I didn't see the delivery fee on the app. On deliveroo it tells you how much you get for the delivery.

I double tip in uber eats, cash + app. most orders are about 2 miles away. I tip about $5-$7 cash and like $5 in app. Am I a stingelord?

Bonus feature: It reads the customer messages to you. That’s a huge difference between doordash messages and ubereats messages.

Assume you're not getting any tips and you're only making $16/hr with a 15 minute delivery... What do you average without tips normally?
