Thank you! What a helpful tutorial! Decided to finally start Dashing this weekend due to a pretty significant promotion, but been hesitant because I wasn’t clear on process. Great job 👏
Yes. Doordas needs to look at YT comments to figure out why the don’t have more drivers. The first day I actually dashed that app was like trying to drive the Space Shuttle. I was ready to cry at times because I was LOST.
I just downloaded the DD app and is thinking about dashing for extra spending money. Thank you for your simple and user friendly tutorial of the app. Excellent job. New subscriber.
This was one of the best tutorials I’ve looked at I was getting ready to do my very first dash but I noticed once I went into my app the area that was closest to me, had no need for Dashers, so they were not busy. I still haven’t ventured out and I was going to try today for lunch but it looks like I missed the lunch rush. Hopefully I can start fresh and go to dinner rush. Thank you for all your information.

I cannot believe Doir dash doesn't explain anything at all to you prior to beginning so you have some kind of clue. it's so much more than just delivering orders. but in a good way. Oh my G…thank you so much!!! I just signed up Door dash yesterday and I have watched plenty of videos and finally I found yours and very, very helpful !
Door dash pisses me off alot. If you decline any orders it will gives you smaller orders that are 100 miles away. Makes no sense. I decline orders because I'm not going to make a 3.00 delivery. There should be a min amount of spend to meet bigger orders to be filled and not scam ppl for 3.00 while the gas the time and damage on your vehicle is depleting all those gains.
I just got approved to work for door dash but this makes a lot of sense. I’ve been seeing in comments do NOT take $3 orders! Sounds like a stupid question but the orders that aren’t paid yet-that we have to order for them-it’s outta door dashes money I assume?

After watching you great video on Door Dash I have attempted ro signup. I've tried my own zip code andI get a message saying they already have all the drivers they need. I then tried several other zip codes but all say the same thing. Am I doing something wrong.
Good overview of the app. A question - how can I see if the order is a double order prior to acceptance. I have seen this two ways. Two pickups at the same restaurant delivering to two different customers. Also, two different pickups going to the same customer. I am confident it is on the app, but I am not seeing it. Both times it has surprised me. Last night I had a "Shop and Deliver" order for Walgreens. After accepting, the app directed me to a restaurant, then after pickup, sent me to Walgreens. Had no clue prior to acceptance. DD support cannot seem to answer this simple question and I have been on the phone 20 minutes, now on interminable hold.
you know I signed up to be a dasher and I finally tried it the other night. it was a nightmare. I couldn't get ahold of any one to ask any questions to. So I decided to say SI. and then after 2wks I finally got a text from someone at doordas
I did my first Dash today. I wish I had seen this first! They tell you follow the directions. Ok first thing pops up after accepting my first dash, read “swipe when youve arrived” As someone who had never done it. I was confused swipe when I get to the restaurant or swipe when I get to the customer?? Then I deliver food. App freezes!! So I leave. After 10 minutes I’m long gone. And it tells me to take a picture of the food! Too late now!!! I’m sure once you figure it all out it’s not bad. But they REALLY need some sort of tutorial like THIS on their App!
@@alexandracapitanucci4939 No. actually they won’t even send it until you complete your first delivery. So what they do is only allow you to get dashes that are prepaid.

Thank you. I need to ask you something. I’m not able to schedule because all locations show me 12:00am to 4:00am all week. And I just can save it. Is this normal?

Do they ship you the bag and blanket? Is there a dress code? How often do you come across loose animals/pets?
can you only do 1 dash per 30 mins.?
you know I signed up to be a dasher and I finally tried it the other night. it was a nightmare.
Do you have the red card already? I heard that we need to have it before right?
@@alexandracapitanucci4939 No. actually they won’t even send it until you complete your first delivery. So what they do is only allow you to get dashes that are prepaid.
Thank you so much for your response. How long the all application process and how do I know when I’m approved? Ty
@@alexandracapitanucci4939 You sign up and put in all your Info. Drivers license etc. The background check takes less than an hour. They will email you a copy. They send you text notifications as well. So they will send you one that says your approved and can start driving. And that’s it! It’s really that simple! I did all my direct deposit info same night.
Thank you. I need to ask you something. I’m not able to schedule because all locations show me 12:00am to 4:00am all week. And I just can save it. Is this normal?
So do you have to be at the city so they can send you where to dash mine only show red that all
Question, i am a COMPLETE newbie to doing ANY delivery.. So if I Schedule in an area but later can't do it.. does that count against me???
Do u need ABN?
What is the red dash card for? Also are these orders paid for already when a dasher picks it up?
It's to pay for orders it's a prepaid card by doordash they put the money on the card for the order doesn't come out of your pay
@@Gamer28509 Is it just a digital card as opposed to something physical? Also how is gas reimbursed?
@@LD71685 Gas isn't reimbursed
I'm new, can you please tell me what the blue bell icon is used for?
can you change your zone if you live in one area but want to work in different areas?
