That SeaCat with the Pink vinyl down the side is the Former "HoverSpeed Great Britain" holder of the Blue Riband of the Atlantic! Easily identifiable by the additional Wave breaker on her foredeck! What a shame they're just sat there rotting away
@@JustFerries yeah I read that about The Great Britain and almost Cried! Many memories of her and her sisters at Dover! It is a shame to see them at the end of their lives but I guess they all have to go in the end sadly

The first advertising break was from Stena Line and featured Stena Danica captured in full speed with drone. A commercial that runs in all Swedish media now. schöne Aufnahmen. Schön ein paar alte Bekannte zu sehen. Frage mich, was die Camomilla (ex Corsica Victoria) da in Katakolon macht. Das ist eigentlich ja kein Fährhafen. Mit der bin ich auch schon öfters nach Korsika übergesetzt.
Perfekte Disharmonie in diesem Video. Die getragene Musik, die wehmütig anmutenden Aufnahmen der aufgelegten Schiffe und als Kontrast der wunderschöne griechische Himmel mit perfektem Sonnenlicht. Warum sind denn so viele Fähren aufgelegt? Da sind ja sogar ein paar recht moderne dabei.
Vielen Dank Guido. Man könnte sicherlich zu jedem einzelnen Schiff spannende Schilderungen erfahren, warum es dort liegt. Oft liegen sie in Werften und werden gewartet oder fir gemacht für den nächsten Einsatz (z. B. in Elefsina oder Perama).

Thank you for your comment. I don't know exactly, but I think some of these ships may also serve as spare parts donors for others.

Some ships are layd up for the winter ,some of them are back at their routes.
All these boats are being used during summer months. Most of them are unfeasible economically during the winter.

So many ships laying around, but Anek and Minoan are unable to find a cabin for me in early September from Greece to northern Italy
