What I have come to realized is that self awareness without God leads to living out of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. I will label certain behaviors as good or bad based on their origin (trauma etc). Then I try to do more of the “good” and less “bad”. When what I should be doing is submitting the new revelation unto him allow him to heal and renew mind. That way the Holy Spirit can lead me to using all types of behaviors with the right motivation/ heart posture to bring God glory. For example, always being quick to speak up came from the need to be seen. God healed me by tangibly showing me that He sees me (El Roi). Then I didn’t care to speak up. But God doesn’t want me to be mute He wants me to be bold and speak up as the Holy Spirit leads me.

Isn't it amazing when you come to a realisation about yourself, surrender it to God and He LITERALLY works that thing out through and for you??? It's been one of the most awe inspiring things I've experienced in the last year and has made my relationship with the Lord just that much more personal. It's humbling and empowering all at the same time🙌
