I'm 41 years old and have been a “Christian” all my life. For the past 13 years, I've been so far away from God and stuck deep in the wilderness. I've been addicted to alcohol and to living a life that does not glorify GOD. I started watching George’s podcast with the episode part 1 and 2 with Cliffe and Stuart, and from there, my relationship with Our God began to change. Through this Podcast, God has shown me what it truly means to have a relationship with Him. I honestly thought I was going to let alcohol enslave me for the rest of my life. I can finally say after 13 years, I'm free of that addiction and have my eyes on Christ. Thank you, George and crew, for being obedient and letting God genuinely use you. I've learned more from this Podcast in the past two months about my faith than my entire 41 years on this earth. Podcasts like this and Bible Girls are bringing God's light to our dark world. Sister mother, you need make serious changes to yourself and heal your relationship with your son if you're paying him to watch this. Obviously you care to do that and you've made some serious mistakes. You've likely let him around the wrong company, might need to switch schools, change what he accesses on the internet, after healing yourself. He's 15. It's not too late. If he continues like that, he might suffer until he's 40, 50, or rest of his life until coming to god.

This was exactly what I needed. I’m a Christian and have been my entire life. I’ve focused so hard on being the “perfect Christian” that it’s caused me to stray even further from God at times due to the amount of pressure that I put on myself for being no stranger to sin. Neglecting God for my own wants through flesh rather than praying and fasting to become even more aware of what I was doing and what I needed to do differently to be closer to God. I’ve never had a podcast video put me in check with my faith like this. I’m heavy into fitness and a huge fan of Alex so this all hit home for me probably close to what it did for him in some ways. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, to pay the penalty for us by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. I can not express in words how much this episode of this podcast has helped me spiritually. I’m very young and still in high school, and it’s amazing to see people talk about god so openly when most young people at my school don’t really listen when I get passionate about this sort of thing. Praise god that he worked through you three and your production team to minister to me! This episode sounds like it was written for me lol. Everything, every word, is another thing I needed to hear or something I needed reassurance on.
So Ive been watching these podcasts.... and I need to say, I was baptized a week ago, 2 weeks ago, joined a new church in my area.... and I feel so relieved! Like I have the worlds stress taken off my shoulders and after my baptism, this guy came to me and said that, the last 2 years of hardship, is over.... every setback has been there to set me up for what is coming and that Gods plan for me slowly but surely falling into place like how God wants and planed for me!

Matthew 17:21 is in most Bible but as a footnote. The footnote clearly states that verse 21 is not found in the earliest manuscripts of Matthew that we have available. However, there are plenty of verses in the Bible that teach us how important fasting and praying are.

woke up at 4 am from a bad dream with a lot of anxiety, i open youtube and this the first video that shows up. and considering i’ve been having some spiritual warfare the last 5 months, i know this is sent from god
I know this is an old comment, but open up God's Word when you wake up randomly in the middle of the night. He speaks to your spirit and comforts/guides you in those moments. Ask Him to lead you to where He wants you to read and "speak to me Lord, your servant is listening"

So glad you brought up the point about discerning which pastors to listen to. Many of Those mega churches are leading people in the wrong direction - especially for not ever talking about the gospel. This has been the worst week of my life in terms of my sins and lies coming to the forefront and having to make some huge life changing decisions, this podcast has introduced me to God, experiencing faith for the first time it truly has provided me so much comfort during this time. When I was like 13 I watched Logan for a short period and I always liked you George you were like that super cool character on your favorite tv show that you got excited about when they would show up, and I’m now 19 and on a spiritual journey trying to build a relationship with god and I know he put my attention on your podcast I was immediately drawn and now im loving them and binging!
I feel alone ngl used to have all the friends i needed and a 2 year relationship i lost it all at the same time really helps to see that other people have felt the same thing I'm currently feeling and thrived through it and made something of themselves
I have always felt like I am very spiritually mature but I feel like it makes me look like i have a big ego. It is very difficult to find anyone else that enjoys going in depth with such a deep topic like God. I have been praying that I find a friend that is able to have conversations like that with me to help me become even closer to God because 2 months ago I was not even close to who I am today but I dont want to rely on myself, I want to have more trust and faith in God.

Don’t worry. It is just a reflection of the age group you are in. Women change drastically around the age of 27. Just focus on you, treat everything as a practice, a set of lessons, be kind despite how you are treated because it will reduce regret (this does not mean you tolerate bad behaviour). Learn to forgive (forgiveness requires 1 person, reconciliation requires 2 so that is separate). And focus on your career and goals. In your 30s everything will pan out. Well done for keeping it moving. Seems God is giving you a lesson on accepting, choosing and loving yourself - life is a mirror; you learn that, and you’ll win at life.

Started watching the podcast about a week ago. Been going through all the Christian and faith based podcasts where yall talk about faith. I've been struggling spiritually a lot the last few years and needed a radical change so I decided to fast the whole month of February. 0 food. I unistalled my social media, started to read my Bible every day and pray every morning and every night. 4 days in I put on this podcast and the first thing covered is "This kind does not come out except by fasting and prayer". God is awesome

I related a lot with Alex and his past with family and how it brought him down to these negative emotions and thoughts and so much is something I still hold onto. This podcast changed a lot about my perspective of religion. I am a 18 year old who moved to a new state and currently feeling lost and alone. I'm not very religious but I am starting to believe that having God in my life can change the course of my life for the better. I have watched Alex thinking his experience with God was the pinnacle and I should strive for that, but listening to George talk about his faith led me to believe that even Alex has many things to learn. Thank you for this pod, think it may be the tipping point of discovering my own faith.
Such a powerful relatable episode! I had the same experience with anxiety and depersonalization and derealization, and nobody knew what I was talking about at all and I had that for years and it’s this episode that actually made me realize that all the glory goes to God through my experience in a way that I knew that the medication route Was not the cure. This episode made me realize that everything that I stumbled upon the people places and things were all sent from God and I am so thankful! I actually posted a video on my to spread the word on how to stop anxiety and I cannot praise myself. I am so thankful for Jesus, especially the “ and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil” that rains way more true to me right now than before

Hi George, I found this podcast quite beautiful as a Coptic Christian. I love to listen to other contemplations you all have. A point to note on Matthew 17:21 ["this kind cannot come out by any other means but fasting and prayer"] and why it wasn't in the Bible you had later - this verse is not actually present in 99% of early Greek manuscripts of Matthew - they tend to omit it because textual ciriticism shows it was likely added in the 7th century. A similar case you may see in your later Bible is the last 12 verses of Mark (which were also likely added around the 5th century). They omit it entirely or make a note saying the verses were probably not there

I'm 41 years old and have been a “Christian” all my life. For the past 13 years, I've been so far away from God and stuck deep in the wilderness. I've been addicted to alcohol and to living a life that does not glorify GOD. I started watching George’s podcast with the episode part 1 and 2 with Cliffe and Stuart, and from there, my relationship with Our God began to change. Through this Podcast, God has shown me what it truly means to have a relationship with Him. I honestly thought I was going to let alcohol enslave me for the rest of my life. I can finally say after 13 years, I'm free of that addiction and have my eyes on Christ. Thank you, George and crew, for being obedient and letting God genuinely use you. I've learned more from this Podcast in the past two months about my faith than my entire 41 years on this earth. Podcasts like this and Bible Girls are bringing God's light to our dark world. Sister mother, you need make serious changes to yourself and heal your relationship with your son if you're paying him to watch this. Obviously you care to do that and you've made some serious mistakes. You've likely let him around the wrong company, might need to switch schools, change what he accesses on the internet, after healing yourself. He's 15. It's not too late. If he continues like that, he might suffer until he's 40, 50, or rest of his life until coming to god.

This was exactly what I needed. I’m a Christian and have been my entire life. I’ve focused so hard on being the “perfect Christian” that it’s caused me to stray even further from God at times due to the amount of pressure that I put on myself for being no stranger to sin. Neglecting God for my own wants through flesh rather than praying and fasting to become even more aware of what I was doing and what I needed to do differently to be closer to God.
I’ve never had a podcast video put me in check with my faith like this. I’m heavy into fitness and a huge fan of Alex so this all hit home for me probably close to what it did for him in some ways.

Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. I can not express in words how much this episode of this podcast has helped me spiritually. I’m very young and still in high school, and it’s amazing to see people talk about god so openly when most young people at my school don’t really listen when I get passionate about this sort of thing. So Ive been watching these podcasts.... and I need to say, I was baptized a week ago, 2 weeks ago, joined a new church in my area.... and I feel so relieved! Like I have the worlds stress taken off my shoulders and after my baptism, this guy came to me and said that, the last 2 years of hardship, is over.... every setback has been there to set me up for what is coming and that Gods plan for me slowly but surely falling into place like how God wants and planed for me!

Matthew 17:21 is in most Bible but as a footnote. The footnote clearly states that verse 21 is not found in the earliest manuscripts of Matthew that we have available.
However, there are plenty of verses in the Bible that teach us how important fasting and praying are.

I know this is an old comment, but open up God's Word when you wake up randomly in the middle of the night. He speaks to your spirit and comforts/guides you in those moments. Ask Him to lead you to where He wants you to read and "speak to me Lord, your servant is listening"

I feel alone ngl used to have all the friends i needed and a 2 year relationship i lost it all at the same time really helps to see that other people have felt the same thing I'm currently feeling and thrived through it and made something of themselves
I have always felt like I am very spiritually mature but I feel like it makes me look like i have a big ego. It is very difficult to find anyone else that enjoys going in depth with such a deep topic like God. I have been praying that I find a friend that is able to have conversations like that with me to help me become even closer to God because 2 months ago I was not even close to who I am today but I dont want to rely on myself, I want to have more trust and faith in God.

1:24:00 this whole section has me in tears. it is so beautiful how he speaks of belle and his love for her and i am a 6’3 200 lb. 19 year old. that is what i want in life but i have given up with relationships because my last 3 girl friends have all been over a year long and they all cheated on me and just the way females are now like how he was talking abt the women that wanted a 3some. i dont want to build a relationship with a girl like that and have that happen to me and it is nearly impossible to find a genuine woman, a woman of god. i havent found a single one. anyways, that whole section was beautiful and i am still in tears over this. thank you george.

Don’t worry. It is just a reflection of the age group you are in. Women change drastically around the age of 27. Just focus on you, treat everything as a practice, a set of lessons, be kind despite how you are treated because it will reduce regret (this does not mean you tolerate bad behaviour). Learn to forgive (forgiveness requires 1 person, reconciliation requires 2 so that is separate). And focus on your career and goals. In your 30s everything will pan out. Well done for keeping it moving. Seems God is giving you a lesson on accepting, choosing and loving yourself - life is a mirror; you learn that, and you’ll win at life.

Started watching the podcast about a week ago. Been going through all the Christian and faith based podcasts where yall talk about faith.
I've been struggling spiritually a lot the last few years and needed a radical change so I decided to fast the whole month of February. 0 food. I unistalled my social media, started to read my Bible every day and pray every morning and every night.
4 days in I put on this podcast and the first thing covered is "This kind does not come out except by fasting and prayer". God is awesome

One of the best podcasts I’ve watched and been able to learn from. I related a lot with Alex and his past with family and how it brought him down to these negative emotions and thoughts and so much is something I still hold onto. This podcast changed a lot about my perspective of religion. I am a 18 year old who moved to a new state and currently feeling lost and alone. I'm not very religious but I am starting to believe that having God in my life can change the course of my life for the better. I have watched Alex thinking his experience with God was the pinnacle and I should strive for that, but listening to George talk about his faith led me to believe that even Alex has many things to learn. Thank you for this pod, think it may be the tipping point of discovering my own faith.

Such a powerful relatable episode! I had the same experience with anxiety and depersonalization and derealization, and nobody knew what I was talking about at all and I had that for years and it’s this episode that actually made me realize that all the glory goes to God through my experience in a way that I knew that the medication route Was not the cure. This episode made me realize that everything that I stumbled upon the people places and things were all sent from God and I am so thankful! I actually posted a video on my to spread the word on how to stop anxiety and I cannot praise myself. I am so thankful for Jesus, especially the “ and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil” that rains way more true to me right now than before

Hi George, I found this podcast quite beautiful as a Coptic Christian. I love to listen to other contemplations you all have. A point to note on Matthew 17:21 ["this kind cannot come out by any other means but fasting and prayer"] and why it wasn't in the Bible you had later - this verse is not actually present in 99% of early Greek manuscripts of Matthew - they tend to omit it because textual ciriticism shows it was likely added in the 7th century. A similar case you may see in your later Bible is the last 12 verses of Mark (which were also likely added around the 5th century). They omit it entirely or make a note saying the verses were probably not there
