A friend told me to train with the gear on land in my garden. That was genius unlocking the feet swap and make it automatic. Looks ridiculous but I can only recommend. Thanks for the tips and thanks for the great channel you have
A balanced body is really the key, as Josep says. For those who struggle, try this: when sailing your body is haging on the upwind side of the board. During tacking, keep front arm straight and progessively let the sail bring your body over the board. Swap feet exactly when your body comes right over the board. This is the key. You can tune how soon this happens depending how much you resist the sail. If you do not resist very much it happens earlier and you will be tacking backwinded, which offers some additionnal stability but can feel weird in the beginning as you will have to lean and push on the sail after the side swap. Otherwise it will happen later, your board will loose all its speed but your sail will already have passed the wind.
Exactly. I think my problem is that I try to grab the other side of the boom to soon, I loose balance, I bend my arms and put a lot of weight and pressure on the front side of the board sinking it.

Nice tips. My tip: at the same time you step to the other side look with your head up to the new direction.
Thank you Josep your video is really helpful. My mistake is that I bend my arms and I just realised it. 🤙🤙
Happy to help you 🎉

Cool ! Try to change it and don’t use the sail to keep the balance

I'm getting the fast tack if I have speed, but under float and bog scenarios I struggle! Any tips when your not on the plane
The most important ones are the ones from the video. Balance and body position. If you have some clips you can sent it to me and I will correct it.
