As someone who recently discovered TW, I can’t express how impressed I am with them. I didn’t enter the rabbit hole, I fell straight to the bottom…such a Great band! I’ve seen others comment and I agree, Dany commands the audience, Pau commands the show, and Ale is the glue that holds it all together.

This song is from a 13-song rock opera they wrote called Queen of the Murder Scene. The story of the rock opera is about a girl who's infatuation with another drive her to murder and madness. It's a wild story and they wrote it when they were still teens. Well, Ale was 12. It's unreal how good they were at such a young age.

I suspect the "creative control" issue was the easiest to negotiate with Lava, who seems to be one of a few "labels" who understand their meaning in current times has changed from "publishing factory" to "marketing consultant". After all, music is "published" over the 'net electronically. Any physical media production is strictly on a "boutique" volume basis, and can be handled by any of several dozen (mostly off-shore) companies for much less money than the traditional "labels" charged.

In these times of the Internet itbis totally different of what it used to be. And now that you mention about the physical products, yes it is cheaper to do it of shore than here in the US. I know their first record was pressed in checkoslovakia ( sorry if I spelled the country wrong) I have to check the other two records to find out were they were pressed.
This song is from their second album that is a rock novel concept album called "Queen Of The Murder Scene" a trip in the feelings and actions of a girl who experiment infatuation unrequited love reject madness and murder/suicide battling for her soul launched/released in 2018 when they were still teens 18-16-12 yo respectively

THis is from the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene released in 2018. It is a concept album about a women sinking into madness over an unrequited love. It shows how strong their song writing skills are that they were just 13 16 and 18 when they wrote, recorded and released the album ( their second album and the first is really good as well)

The Warning took part in a benefit concert for venues during the pandemic where bands put on a virtual concert (DeTour) from wherever they were riding out the quarantine.
The Warning played Dull Knives from The Warning Cave and Lzzy Hale from Halestorm took notice and when touring started again, The Warning were part of her tour with Lilith Czar and The Pretty Reckless.

Not only that, but at the end of the DeTour concert the other artists asked for an encore of the song because everyone liked it so much. They were the only band to play twice.

Flawless and perfect. As someone mentioned, part of the concept album of Queen of the Murder Scene. In 2018 they sang the entire album in proper sequence to tell the story of the main character’s descent into madness and murder. Here, you can see Dany smiling, having fun with the concert. When The Warning first performed this at the Lunario CDMX in 2018, Dany stayed in character throughout the concert, a tortured soul descending into obsession, madness and murder. Her transformation with each song was terrifying and heartbreaking. Dany even has ‘war paint’, three scars painted across her neck and her hands. Ale was only 13, Pau was 16 and Dany was 18 . They were all incredible. Their performance in the smaller venue of the Lunario you can feel your heart pounding with Pau’s drumming and Ale’s bass and Dany still makes me choke back tears.

Lunario is kind of the "gold standard" of this album's performances, but I must admit watching Dany act like her guitar is running away from her, out of control on this one makes me giggle every time. 😋
@@MrJest2 Yes, smiling, having fun, enjoying the moment. A recent reactor who saw the Teatro Metropolitan performance was a little confused. That the song and the lyrics sounded ominous, but the sisters were all smiling and enjoying the moment. The Teatro concert is just so much fun, that in contrast to the Lunario, my face is stuck with a goofy smile, just happy to see the sisters just have fun on stage.
They've said that they first thought they'd like to do this when they played the video game Rock Band as kids and dreamed of performing on stages like in the game. So when I saw them live for the first time in 2022 I got the VIP tickets and at the meet and greet I asked if they were having as much fun touring as they thought they would back when playing Rock Band. Pau was very adamant that it was even more fun than they imagined! Welcome to TWA!

The first one inducted in Rock Band 4 in 2015 when Harmonix, developer of Rock Band, invited them for a tour of their premises after the sisters completed their 6 weeks summer course at Berklee. Ellen had it captured on her Ellen TV vlog. She was instrumental in sponsoring the girls to Berklee after watching their viral 2014 Enter Sandman.

They are signed now . Lava Records signed them, and it took 8 months of negotiations. Lava is also Republic Records. Devon from Lava went to the Mercury Lounge in New York/ New Jersey saw them and went to the CEO of Lava and invited him and his head was blown.
They also tried many times to make this song longer but nothing worked so they left as is.

The drummer Pau (POW!) is the bands primary songwriter, beginning most of their songs on piano before bringing them to her sisters to turn them into these perfect little hard rock gems. You should see her sing a song or two - she's a killer. Both 23, and Dust To Dust from this show are very good places to start.
Dust To Dust is the opening song to their 2018 concept album, released when the girls were only18, 16, and 13. They played that album in full when it first debuted (Live at Lunario), and that version of D2D is a classic. Maybe a double header of the 2018/2022 versions would be possible, just to compare their growth as musicians and performers.

You should start with the opening track and just go until you feel you've heard too many duds. After those 22 songs are done, check out their 2018 Live at Lunario show, where the girls (18, 16, and 13) debuted their concept album by playing the whole thing from beginning to end. Once you get through that one without finding any duds just keep going through all their shows like their two legendary Tedx shows in 2016 and 2017. You know, until you find a dud song.

Do you think the Warning/ will be welcomed there at that festival? I know some German fans know about them but that is a huge festival so there will be more people than at the intimate show they did in Berlin and some other venues so maybe a lot of people wont know who they are. Also I have no idea how long their set is going to be and if they played one of their spanish language songs how those songs would they be received although i don't think they will play them.

They tried everything to make it longer but the song wouldn’t let them. You can’t improve perfection. The only solution is to just play it again. They were independent until the latest album ERROR. Now they’re with Lava for a 5 record deal. After which they will be the biggest rock band on the planet and will have their own label ,signing all the young acts who were inspired by The Warning to take-up rock n roll.

The Warning was an independent band until before they recorded their latest album, Error. They are now the first latin american band to sign with a mayor US label, Lava-Republic, after a long negociation. The reason they never signed before was because they wanted to have creative control and also maintain their Patreons, all of which they got in the end!

The best 3 minutes of rock!!! They have said in one of their vlogs that they did try to make the song longer, but everything they tried made it worse, so they just left the song the way it was. They also said that if you think the song is too short you can always hit the replay button. lol They are singed right now. Their first two albums they were unsigned but their third album they got signed by Lava/Republic records. They have said it took a long time in negotiations as they did not want anyone to take control of the music they make. I believe they signed a 5 record deal and their second album of them being singed is due out any month now. Their last album was a great album and I expect the same from them this time.

They had turned down many offers in the past because the people wanted to change them "for the wrong reasons". Not only did they retain creative control of their music they also retained their patreon. Even before signing they had a strong social media and music streaming presence.
There is a series called Mayday in the Making. It's a series of six short videos that talks about their progress from very young up to the making of the Mayday EP/ERROR album.
Simply Excellent. That song and sound so reminded me of metal bands from the early/mid eighties. The bass and drum sound in that breakdown really gave me early Iron Maiden vibes.

While each and every song from the concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" - often written by those of us who are hard core fans as QOTMS - can stand on it's own, the full (and disturbing) effect is best experienced by experiencing it in it's entirety.
You're not the only one to recognize their talent and be pulled in by them. Jason Flom of Lava Records saw them once at the Mercury Lounge in December 2019 in NYC and spent 7 months in negotiations to sign them. A main sticking point was Patreon. They were adamant that they would not sign if they had to give up Patreon. They got their way and signed with Lava / Republic Records on June 23, 2020.
Be sure to watch their performance of "More" from the VMA's.
Have you considered watching the full Teatro Metroplitan concert from the beginning. You can go song by song, or watch half at a time, because they take break to change outfits.

They have written almost 50 songs till date. In today's era of show over substance, profanity over profundity, cover artists over originality these girls have brought back intelligence of the 60s, 70s through their insightful messages about contemporary society with deep metaphorical poetry - mostly written by Pau, the drummer.
Its incredible that around 2017, a 15 year old girl, going through her emo phase in middle school, wrote the first draft of Queen of the Murder Scene to which this song belongs. Pau tabled it in front of her sisters aged 17 & 12, who found it too bloody. And together they sat down and created one of the darkest concept albums in history of rock. Personally I find it second only to The Dark Side of the Moon published in 1973. Dylan-esque in her metaphors & as dark as Roger Waters in her thoughts, Paulina Villarreal laid her claims to be among one of greatest rock poets with this album recorded in 2018, when she was 16. Dany was 18 & Ale 13 at that time.
Its a shame that nowadays, artists covering hit songs from yesteryears in a new way have millions of followers & get hyped up by the public instead of creators like Pau and her sisters.
Its a shame that very few have heard about this album since 2018.

I used to think that watching any of my favorite 90s bands (therapy? , helmet, prong, goo goo dolls, del amitri etc) live was the one thing that can actually convince me to leave the comforts of the couch and be around strangers for a change.
That was until I discovered these hard rocking sisters.
All my other favorites are still my favorites but The Warning took the top spot and it’s not even close.
They came. They rocked. They conquered.

I think that was the last concert as an independent band. They pay for it with go-fund-me, Patreon, merch, album/cd sales and concert tickets. Which makes them pretty good businesswomen too. They also seem like they have great parents.

This concert they was already signed had been signed for 2 years . They signed in late 2019 and recorded their first album under lava in 2020 , this concert was 2022, two years after the signed and recorded the album

The Warning is definitely one of the best female rock bands in the world, they have a lot of music to react to, literally they don’t have a single bad song. Other bands just worry about having 1 or 2 hits and the rest of the album are just filler songs. Not with these girls!, they put a lot of thought into their music and lyrics every time they write a song. They are truly something special.
I don’t know if you are going to keep reacting to “The Warning” until you are done with their discography but if you want to be blown away by another female band, probably the best female metal band in the world, you should check “Lovebites” from Japan. These girls are prodigies! Extremely talented musicians.

They are now signed with Lava records. Their third album, ERROR was written prior to signing with Lava, but recorded and released after the signed. The Teatro Metro concerts were professionally recorded and mixed. Any song from this concert is amazing. They start the concert with high energy songs then slip into the ballads later. The first 5 or 6 songs just rock like crazy. They do covers on occasion but mostly original songs. Now that they are signed they have to promote the latest album. I hear the newer concerts off their latest tour were recorded and should start dropping soon.

Definitely check out the version of Dull Knives shot in the Warning Cave. I think being in the smaller, confined space of the basement makes it even more energetic than the Teatro Metropolitan performance.
In case you don’t know, this song, and others in this show, are taken from the album Queen of the Murder Scene. I recommend you listen to the entire album as it is the story of a woman’s descent into madness due to unrequited love. A phenomenal concept album from teenagers … teenagers!
