I know the pain! Did the same thing to both feet's/ heels. I couldn't have surgery for almost a month just waiting for swelling to go down! Had to chill with both feet just dusted. Then almost a year later learned to walk again.
I didn't need to have surgery but I crunched my right calcaneus. My 11th break and first time I heard the break. A new level of pain was reached. Took over 2 years before I could put my ski boots on without my foot going numb.
you should see how fucked my leg is, doctor said its the worst hes seen in his 40 years of surgery and he cannot believe Im recovering
I had this surgery to stop compartment syndrome as soon as I got my break then they just full my leg with steel rods now, absolutely no bones at all between my knee and toes
