Just make sure you are doing it as fast as possible so they're high enough. The other part is to learn the timing for the link into c.S, but if you can't get it, then cutting out one of the normals will lead to a pretty small damage difference.
Yes they should still work the same. There are some new setups I'll be making an update video about, but other than new stuff, it was mostly consistency buffs.
im still sorta new to ggst and fighting games in general so this is kind of a lot to try and learn. which combos of these are the most important to learn and practice?
If you want to keep things simple, practically every hit can lead into 236K, then either do the K followup, P followup or no followup when they're too far for it to connect. The important things will be 2K 2D into 214S to set up pressure after a knockdown, 2K 6K 236K if you want more damage and corner carry, and 2S or far slash then press S a second time for the followup and use 236K to get close to them even though it'll miss. Once you get more comfortable with the character and want to get better combos from certain starting hits, come back to the video and see what the other possible combos there are and add them as you like!
@aDTimeGaming okay thank you!! I've been getting super comfy with the character and I wanted to level up my combo game if that makes sense! I just wasn't sure where I should focus. should I just pick a couple and work on those? are there any that are more important than others? Also is s hs hs not optimal? should i be using 236k instead?
@@pkcryo Doing f.S 5H~H is about as optimal as you can get. 2S into 5H~H then whiff scooter is basically the same as 2S directly into scooter, so either works. if you're leveling up combos, most of that will come from doing different corner combos like adding in 6Hs, or by adding Wild Assaults into combos typically after 2H. If you haven't already, make sure you know what to do after 2K 2D 214S oki using the roll to extend combos more too. Those combos may be shown off better in the part 2 guide. The most important things to know are basic conversions like 5H/f.S/2S/2K starters, counter hit c.S, combos off of knockdown setups with yoyo, and RC extensions. Everything else is nice to have, but Bridget is overall a fairly low damage character, and adding the extra optimizations doesn't do too much. But having the core ideas of what to do from each hit is important. Her optimizations are mostly for better knockdowns or corner carry rather than damage.
@@pkcryo oki is short for okizeme. It's basically what you do as offense after knocking someone down. Here's a link to the fighting game glossary. It has definitions for practically every fighting game term. Hopefully it's useful, especially if you're new to fighting games. glossary.infil.net/?t=Okizeme
I'm not sure what you mean, there hasn't been an update for Happy Chaos since last December and I uploaded a video giving updates shortly after it released. If he has changes in the season 4 patch next month I'll do an update video on that too.
Every time I watch your videos I get better at this game. Thank you for making these guides!

Anyone else having trouble with 2:19 anti air combo? Can't seem to land the c.S after the 2K and drop the combo at 8 hits

I reference this series of video ss alot for bridget info but now theres a new patch that is gonna changeeverything vastly GAGHHHHHH
Do these still work even with the new patch?
