I wasn't sure how much impact this was because I was having an emotional flashback and feeling really tense but I've gone from a 10 to a 6 or a 7 I am feeling more relaxed and I noticed that I started yawning about halfway through which is a sign of the autonomic nervous system relaxing. Thank you so much I'm going to save this to one of my playlists now ❤
I’m glad you were able to tap the intensity down to a lower level. Yes, yawning, tearing, giggling etc. are all signs you are moving some energy and relaxing the nervous system.
thank you for posting this, I'm bookmarking it to come back to. I've had a challenging 3 months and I've felt incredibly overwhelmed and depressed - this 7 minute exercise brought me back down to earth. thank you so much

I am struggling with anxiety for almost 1,5 year and i tried a lot. But eft is wonderfull, its crazy. Thankyou so much ❤❤❤ i am relaxed now. My heart palputations are better now. I think i just think too much and this is amazing, my thougts are litterly OFF
Thank you so much! This is a totally new concept to me, I’ve never heard of it until I stumbled upon this video. I don’t remember what it’s like to not be anxious at all. I’m in therapy for ptsd and try to limp along with as little pharmaceutical intervention as possible. So, this technique has just opened a whole new door for me. My normal state is a 5-6/10, just a few seconds in the tears started flowing. At the end it’s a 2. Thank you ❤

Lauren, this is such a great video❤. You have a lovely way about you, and I was able to follow along and change my anxiety level gently within minutes. Thank you so much for putting this together. I just followed you, and look forward to watching more of your videos. Megan
Hi there, I noticed you tapped only one side for temple and cheek under the eye. Do I need to do both sides or does it matter? -thanks!! Lovely video and you have a beautiful voice to guide through it :)
Hi Sonia! You can do both sides or just one. Whichever feels best for you. A lot of my clients prefer doing both at the same time - they say it helps them feel even! But, remember there is no wrong way of tapping! I'm sending all the healing energy your way!
Thank you for this, I am starting to feel a bit better! Question, since I am very new to tapping: does the timing matter? Like, how long you tap in a certain area, or the ratio of tapping in different places vs others? Thanks in advance!
There is no wrong way to tap. You can linger one one point longer than others if you like. Typically I stay on a point for however long it takes me to complete the reminder phrase.
Would it also work for someone who has it's true self burried deep under a shell created by he's ego, in order to prevent him from veing his true self and having access to his own desires, mental abilities, creativity?
You can tap without speaking and that in itself can be calming. However, adding the words helps you hone in on the issue at hand, and find additional relief.
Most likely there are other emotions under the surface that need to be addressed. We’ve had so many experiences that have emotions attached to them, so we need to hold space for those emotions so that we can get to the root of what is really going on.
Hi Jessica! I would definitely encourage tapping on a daily basis. But it’s important to also tap on the events/ memories/ experiences that are contributing to your activated state. I offer free consultations if you want to talk in more detail about your situation.
@@MindshiftWithLauren i dont have money anymore for sessions. I did that before. Both eft and fast eft. My life was full of hard situations. I could not handle this with tapping, it was too much, even the therapist said it was too complex....
@@jessicaburgers Not knowing your situation specifically it's hard for me to give direction. But, there's lots of nuanced techniques to utilize when approaching past trauma so that it feels gentle and not intensely overwhelming.
@@jessicaburgers You absolutely can. And I'd love for you to report back if you do that. I was just suggesting that addressing the other contributing thoughts and feelings would be helpful in calming the nervous system.
Thank you! When you said "I'm coming home to myself " I cried. Such release. ❤
I'm so glad you were able to let go and cry!
This definitely calmed me 🙏🏾

Lots of tapping!! 🙌
Would it also work for someone who has it's true self burried deep under a shell created by he's ego, in order to prevent him from veing his true self and having access to his own desires, mental abilities, creativity?
Yes. Tapping helps you peel back the proverbial layers of the onion to get to your personal truth.
Does it work the same without speaking? I find tapping in silence more natural, but maybe speaking is an important element?
You can tap without speaking and that in itself can be calming. However, adding the words helps you hone in on the issue at hand, and find additional relief.
❤
Sweet calming voice but where is your. mic? I had to put close caption on. Could. Not hear you 😅
Thanks for the feedback!
made me a bit sleepy
Is it normal to cry?
Yes! That means energy is moving!
I feel better for a while, then it's back again

It was more at the beginning...(too fast)
could you slow down so we can repeat what you say please?
A bit too fast. There is not enough time between lines to repeat what you say
You can change the speed on any video to speed it up or slow it down.
Can’t hear you very well sorry.
You are so beautiful
