I still think the Tire Thumping is a Great idea to continue. Getting a Visual on each tire is invaluable in case something else with the tire or rim may be an issue.

Got out of driving after suffering 5 Pulmonary Embolisms and a heart attack on November 10, 2017 after getting home for the weekend. I dropped and hooked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in St. James, MO. then headed home. Been at the flying j in Sullivan, MO many times. Why being a pilot ? because for me it’s the perfect job and being one of the few to have the privilege to fly for life. Had a thought - while you were filling up I was wondering how funny it would be if LHL dropped by the same gas station.
Have seen many engines not have had enough oil or coolant from factory. That's why there is PDI . Mazda Rx7 cars were shipped with 80 psi in the tires in 1982.
For spending 500plus on fuel that’s the least they can do is to give you a free coffee refill.

Why would a brand new truck with 20k miles even need oil???
Might be breaking in or they never filled it at factory.
