Narrows Top Down Backpacking Trip

This hike took place form 18-19 June. The high was 84 and the low was 48 degrees F. The river was running around 50 cubic feet per second.
The hike started at Chamberlain Ranch and ended at the bus stop for the narrows. To get to chamberalain's ranch you need to get dropped off by a private shuttle or a friend. Since I have no friends, I used the shuttle. We saw nobody until the second day during the last three miles once we got close to the bus stop.
A lot of people say you need all this gear… I did the hike in shorts and a tshirt with trail running shoes and wool socks. I don’t think there’s a need to buy the boots and neoprene socks that many of the outdoor stores in Zion sell. I did it without trekking poles, but those would have saved me from falling a few times. You absolutely need to waterproof your gear with waterproofing bags. This will make your bag float and keep your stuff dry.
