Blue or Humpback Whales in Depoe Bay, Oregon

Whales in Depoe Bay, Oregon using Takumar 500mm f4.5 and Pentax-A Rear Converter 1.4x-L on Sony a7sii.
These whales stayed over through the summer, rather than heading back out to sea, to protect their young babies. Were they to go out to sea, killer whales would kill them. They seemed to enjoy the attention and even show off for us as we photographed them.
