Eddie was the cornerstone of the band, his rhythms and heavy riffs is what made the strong foundation to the band, and Fred's lead melodies would harmonize so cleanly. That's what made TBS the band we love.
This is the greatest gift you could have given us, Fred. The best guitar sound from that era of music easily came from you and Eddie's chemistry and the world has you both to thank 🙏 What can you guys tell me about the tone and play-style you achieved on the albums you collaborated on? My biggest memory from a few years ago when I first saw TBS play and it was one of the first times that Eddie wasn't on stage, and this dude started the "WHERE THE FUCK IS EDDIE! WHERE THE FUCK IS EDDIE!" chant. So Eddie! You ARE the best. Please keep coming back. We love you so much man. You created one of the greatest bands of all time and made some of the best music the world has ever seen. In my heart I will always be chanting "WHERE THE FUCK IS EDDIE!"

My insides are screaming! The albums the two of you guys made in TBS literally outlined my entire existence. To hear you some years later reflecting on your time together makes me so nostalgic and happy. I’m in my mid twenties and I’m playing in a touring band now as well, and while I’ll never be as big or as important as TBS is, it makes my younger self proud to know that I never lost sight of my goals and I’m doing exactly what I dreamed of. All because of dudes like Fred and Eddie! Thank you for doing what you do!
Watching your channel blow up is like watching a band back in the day blow up. It's funny. Here you are, an accomplishment live musician already with fans. I was so excited coming across your RUclips channel feeling like I discovered something in the early stages again. It's been years since I've had that feeling. 2020 be damned, some good things came out of it!
The reason one eighty is so memorable is that bridge. Trademark tbs in full form. That feedback is beautiful then cuts into the that huge crescendo. Great lyrics and catchy as hell. Adam’s vocals soar over top of yours that keep the song moving.

What a cool video! Loved hearing all the answers to these questions. Would love to see more videos like this! I love the longer bridge version of what’s it feels like to be a ghost. What made you guys cut it out? I always figured it was a producer wanting the song to be shorter.
When I started listening to TBS, the entire group was amazing... and as I watched the videos (official and live performance grabs), I noticed Eddie and Fred the most. There was just something about how they seemed to be "feeling the music" more - a little less "showy" and more heart-felt (meaning absolutely zero offense to the other guys). With that in mind, this Shed segment was awesome to watch! Just a couple old friends hanging out while remembering the music of times past, but also forging forward to continue doing what they love.
