Fred seeing you react to this era of music is so cool. You can see in your eyes how much you connect with that time in your life. Its also so interesting watching you reflect on tbs songs. This may be too personal of a topic for you (but maybe not). I think a ton of us would love to know what ultimately lead to your decision to leave the band, and if looking back now if there was any regret in that decision. I dont know how close you are with any of the guys anymore. But one of my dreams would be to see everything come full circle now that everyone is older, and for you to rejoin the band. Even if it was for a short run of shows. I would pay anything to see a tbs supergroup on stage together. Glad for all these videos Fred!

I recently fell in love with The Black Parade, as it's a great album to listen to while doing my janitor job. I saw them in early 2000 (maybe) when they were touring the midwest (Michigan, specifically) in support of their 1st album. I remember the vibe they put off, seeing them at the Local 432 in Flint Mi - at the time, that dark, mysterious vampire vibe was fresh. There was a lot of unique bands on the scene in the beginning of the millennium...all the way through the late 2000s. So many bands that never pressed an album, too.

Vindicated takes me back. I was a huge Spider-Man fan when I was nine years old. I received the soundtrack as a Christmas gift and it quickly became my favorite CD I ever owned. I listened to it everyday. That CD got me into all the music I listen to now.

Great watch again! Would love to see a react video to some additional early late 2000s bands... Story of the year, Brand new, Thrice, Brand New, Saves The Day, The Starting Line, Hawthorne Heights, Anberlin, new found glory, saves the day... OR newer emo/punk songs/groups... The Story So Far, Knuckle Puck, Neck Deep, Polar Bear Club, state champs...

@31:25 - did we notice the fancier guitar at the end? Hell yeah we did! In fact, I found your YT video about your equipment setup because I wanted to know more about the sound. Using the volume peddle to go clean to distorted was brilliant (as in "Liar")... and having the presence set to zero on the head only made sense considering how awesome the band's overall presence was on stage. 😁

You’re So Last Summer and Cute Without the E are hands down their best two..need to include Straylight Run Existentialism on Prom Night, anything from Brand New Deja Entendu, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Don’t You Fake It album..

That would actually be really cool to hear Fred’s recollection of his early days in tbs and his time during the TAYF era, including filming You’re So Last Summer. Also his thoughts on Straylight Run, Brand New, and the culture of the scene in terms of beef between bands back then.

Emo lives on with my kids. Jimmy Eat World and Paramore have been their gateway, but I subliminally started them off in the very early days with Manchester Orchestra. Building them up to eventually appreciate the harder stuff, and I've already started sprinkling in some Taking Back Sunday. Up next is The Used, which is my nostalgic anthem for freshman year of college.

Fred, the thing I love about these videos is you can plainly see, that you are such a genuine fan of this genre. You are a living legend of the scene, and you can just see the look of pure joy on your face while listening and talking about these tracks and bands. Love it!
