Your calm demeanor and friendliness remind me of the great Bob Ross. This is one of the easiest to follow tutorials I've found and I have watched a many a one, believe you me. Thanks for sharing your expertise and techniques, they've been a huge help to me and many others.
I have watched a lot of these true fire vids on here, and I was pretty blown away when you flipped the plate over in part 3. Most people just make a mess of highlights over various colors. But you can see the flames emerging in yours here. Very good tutorial series. I really think you do a great job of getting your audience inside you head to understand what's going on. Subscribed.
I love this tutorial! I've gone from knowing nothing about airbrushing to being able to do some pretty sweet true flame bodies in a few months. By far the best explanation I have seen. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!
I live in Australia and am finding it really hard to locate a local distributor. Shipping from US is considered hazmat parcel. I currently use Faskolor paint for basic painting but wont be able to get the PSI low enough for detail and they're not translucent like SpazStix. However I noticed the Faslucent range of paints. Have you tried these? Do think they will be ok for true flame effect? Otherwise any other alternative lacquer based paint you can recommend? Thanks, awesome tutorial btw.

SpazStix paint was designed for rc painting.
It works just fine without issues of cracking or chipping.

what kinda pressure do you use for your airbrush? Do you have the thin out the paint at all?
SpazStix paint is now owned by Florida RC Outlet and is being specifically made for RC lexan bodies.
I understand how to paint it but where do I get the shields/stencils to do it they way you show?!?!
Will airbrush paints (house of kolor) work on an rc body? Or will it melt it?
can the spaztix paint flex with r/c bodie or does it crack and chip. plze let me know, thnks
but lacquers are required for achieving some of the most luscious colors. I wish there were more enamel lexan paint than lacquer.
WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR SMALL STENCILS?
lacquers dont stick to lexan all that well from my exp.
Disgraceful name for a paint brand, making fun of people with Cerebral Palsy.
