We returned from 12 fabulous nights in your beautiful country on Friday. On this, our 15th trip, we stayed in Sanur. Loved it and will stay there again.

Looking at how the various parts of Bali are developing it really does feel like not only is there a Masterplan, but they are sticking with it. We may disagree with the contents of the Masterplan and it's implications for us, but slowly the target markets will become explicit. We have no choice but to chose our box and jump headlong into it, this is the modern condition.

Today you showed everyone the best of Sanur. The new wooden decks on the beachfront restaurants look good. The Nest is an awesome spa but necessary to book as is very busy.

You know what, after 15 years of going to Bali every year (apart from Covid times) I have never been to Sanur. Found it very touristy. I think everywhere in Bali now is very touristy anyway and after watching this video, I think its its time for me to pay Sanur a visit (hopefully D Xmas this year).

Hello Damian and Winny...have done my usual binge of your last 10 days of vlogs...loved your Thai visit Damian, all very informative, great to see the "dynamic duo" back together producing quality vlogs and information out of Bali again, particularly enjoyed the Sanur update. It appears that the upgrades along the whole Sanur beach front are nearly finished and from my perspective, it's a vast improvement. While I enjoyed the original warungs, over time the redevelopment will mature and achieved that "lived in" feel. Also nice to see that a few of the more exclusive resorts, Maya, Hyatt appear to be more "user friendly", will certainly enjoy a coffee and cake on the first-floor deck at Maya next time I visit. Although I've been to Sanur a number of times, I mostly stay in Seminyak. Thanks to this vid I think I'll look at Sanur for my next trip.Another great video!
Oh how beautiful Sanur has become with the new walking path. Also nice to have a look inside Maya Sanur. Also looks very nice and cozy. Hopefully we can see more from Sanur such as the progress of the new shopping mall and the changes across Hyatt in Danau Tamblingan. Thank you

Looking good needed a clean up. Down further outside the Mercure they have the signs for which side the bikes/pedestrians go on unfortunately they have the arrow for bikes pointing on the track for pedestrians with the tracks for visual impaired to follow. So that will be interesting a few crashes coming up. Not that the bike riders ever follow the rules. Intercontinental is a great hotel but still last week not all restaurants open. The Holiday inn just behind it is so good 6 star service at a very affordable price. Thank you for another great video, 🙏👍
We were down there about 9am in the Sindhu/Segara beach area Sunday morning and it was really busy with local families. Even though they've put up more signs and painted the bike symbols on the new path, a lot of people pay no attention and go on whatever side they feel like and with the way some of those electric bike's speed along there it gets a bit crazy.
To be honest, how I wished I were there to enjoy right now! The path to modern times for Sanur is clearly progressing, literally with the pavement completed. Personally, I prefer a more "messy" (but clean, no pollution), not so brushed kind of look... That devilfish lamp is really cool. Exactly the way how they lure their prey with the light in the deep sea!

The Tree bar at the Maya. We were there a couple of days ago. Views are even better at high tide. Hoping to book there for my next visit. Very relaxing place unlike kuta where hawkers kill the buzz.

Thanks for showing us around more of Sanur. Always love seeing it. Any chance sometime you could head down even further south towards The Mercure hotel? We are looking at staying there next year but we know it’s a bit further from the main things that Sanur have to offer. Am interested to see what warungs, cafes are available on the beach down that end of town. Thanks for all your hard work putting these daily videos together, I love watching them.

I am planning to visit Bali and from airport I will travel direct to ubud. Ubud -Seminyak -nusa lembongan - uluwatu and last kuta. Is this the right order to roam Bali.
