@@jetsettech8804 I think the idea in the movie was that they were the sort if band who'd have to play places like the cantina as nowhere more up market would have them.

They are playing without a bass. The walking bass line in the original has an enormous presence. Without the bass, even if the rest is played spot on, its going to feel light.
It´s really impressive how a simple background soundtrack title became a classic of contemporary jazz.
Star Wars makes the magic happens.
*Jizz
That magic came from Abbey Road. The score was recorded where the Beatles made their records.
This is great, but it's missing the steel drum.
Also the muted trumpet and the clarinet.
They couldn't get it through Earth customs.
And the bass
One of THE BEST ragtime tunes ever, up there with Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag"!
I'm disappointed that they didn't introduce it as "Mad About Me", the canon name of the song.
Neeeeeeeerd!

and that they didnt use steelpans
@@user-eb1nd9ki5s loser 😜
if I had a group of friends willing to do this I would learn a differant insutrament just to get right set from the movie.
playing live in those costumes takes real appreciation... obviously disappointed about the steel drum, but it was still great
I play it on steel pans! So yeah.
Fun Fact: This style of music is called 'Jizz' in the star wars universe
No, this isn't a joke.
10/10. Nice job.
i first watched this 3 years ago, now that i've grown alot, it's still very enjoyable
Cmon get some shots of the drummer. They do just as an important job as the others!
It's beautiful. I wish I was there. I love that song.
Weird RUclips recommended but good video 👍
Просто шикарно !!!!! Шедевр !!!! Гриффины вам в помощь !
Shoutout to everyone clapping on the upbeat
Alto clarinet powoh!!
Everyone makes mistakes
Genial!!!
Que originales que buena musica trae nostalgia
Play the same song!
Nice but why replace the alto sax 🎷 with an alto clarinet 😢
Because they are cultured individuals
i believe it was recorded with a alto clarinet in the movie
That does seem like an intentional flaw. The alto clarinet just doesn't sound as good as the alto sax
@@jetsettech8804 I think the idea in the movie was that they were the sort if band who'd have to play places like the cantina as nowhere more up market would have them.
It was clarinet in the original recording
same song again please
Spielt den selben Song nochmal!
LUKE
I wonder where they bought the masks..?
ich kack ab xD
Who played lego star wars in xbox 360 ??
mix was off and I miss the steel drum!

@@henrikthorsen5971 ahhh YES! This IS good! thx
This sounds wrong , in the sense that the octave is different from the original.

That clapping ruined it.
