These great and fearless men will forever be revered by climbers and their legends permanently etched on the high peaks of the world: Haston, Scott, Bonington, Whillans. Legends all
Don Whillans is pure gold!
one of the best things i have watched. thx for posting.
Doug Scott is a climbing jewel!
I vividly remember watching these "maniacs" climbing The Old Man of Hoy on the TV. I'm scared stiff of heights so why was I glued to this craziness?
Sad ending for such a fantastic climber we cannot choose our end I guess!
fab archive thanks !
Thanks
Thank you ❤
Good to see Guy looking well - allez!
Thanks for posting -cut short.
Is there a continuation of this please? Thankyou
Great movie of an epic life.
Great posting, cut short!
great Scottish climber, probably the best ever. Died caught in a avalanche, downhill skiing of the pist, tragic ending.
Richard Stead I am not sure if dying in the mountains he loved is a tragic end for a great man.
Canada ski resorts seem to curse mountaineers.
He was talented but Robin Smith was probably the light that shone brightest until his death.
it's all I have

Leigh Litz sorry no
kwacker45 thank you anyway. It was great to watch.

Brilliant climber r I p
the coffin was empty... I think that's what Scott meant.
His body was found by search dogs.
Really-they seemed to have retrieved the body?
@@colinhopkins8009 what is your source ? This docu hints that the coffin was empty and only symbolic.
@@colinhopkins8009 well there you go, if you say so.
The article on Wikipedia also confirms his body was found, there is a suggestion he was strangled by his scarf in the avalanche .
I see why he dumped that first wife …… eeewwwww.
Annie was quite the looker back in the day. We all age..
