@@tjay6469 it really depends on the whistle - joker & AG are very hands on D, no whistle. They are getting away with stuff Dwight does not - nor the majority of the league - top defenders like Dort gets whistled for everything Joker and AG do not.
Maybe Heat gets wway with same aggressive D - but Denver took them easily, as AG and Joker are bigger.

People actually think Lakers had a shot to being with? This isn't Lakers hate, it's just facts. Lakers were never contenders with that poorly constructed roster while the Nuggets reached their full potential and are the favorites to win it all. Even Chuck and Shaq said it, Lakers playing poor had nothing to do with D-Lo and reaves shooting bad in Game 1. They just can't keep up with the Nuggets. Period.
The Lakers are toast. No answer not only to Jokic but for the whole Nuggets team. This team is a solid unit. Excellent chemistry. Everybody knows their role and plays it well too! Meanwhile, Laker support team doesn't seem to know what to do!

I agree with Charles of DreamersPro about Skip. Unless Skip has an IQ lower than his shoe size, I don’t believe he thinks Lakers were ever beating the Nuggets. It is a trap. He wants to create these high expectations on the Lakers so when they fail, he can mock LeBron all summer.
What 7th seed has ever had expectations that these current Lakers have? If the 7th seed were my Clippers or any other team not named the Lakers, there would be no expectations. But Skip is creating this ditch for LeBron to fall into. Skip calls AD Always Disappointing. Now he’s backing him up? It’s a trap.
I personally enjoy it when the media keeps gassing up the Lakers whether they’re 10th, 7th, or wherever. Because the more media talks about the Lakers daily, the higher expectations and the bigger disappointment when they do fail which they’ll often do since it’s impossible to win every single year.
Lakers have lost 9 straight to Denver while Jokic and Murray are in the absolute prime of their careers. Can’t these LeBron jocksniffers take a hint? A 7th seed trying to dethrone the reigning champs? But Skip has been picking Lakers over Celtics since preseason. Once the Lakers fail and they will, Skip will keep trashing LeBron. He’s creating a path to trash LeBron by overselling these LA frauds. Even MJ didn’t have the high expectations at age 39 and nobody cared if he failed to make the playoffs.
Skip already keeps saying that LeBron has no clutch gene. Then why pick them, Skip? It’s all set up to give Skip free rein to mock LeBron after he fails to win a 5th ring. Eliminate all the potential LeBron excuses. Deep down, Skip doesn’t believe Lakers can beat Denver similar to his delusions with his Cowboys. But those two franchises draws ratings, hence, why Skip talks about them 95% of the time.

Let Jokic do all the scoring. He gets tired easily that's why he is a willing passer. It is a Denver tactic to keep him on the floor and still contribute without exerting too much energy. AD and Lebron looked gassed towards the end of the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th the way the Nuggets sprint out on fast breaks it's usually a 5 on 3 with 2 lakers in the backcourt jogging. Another sequence was with Lebron and AD standing right next to Jokic off a KCP missed 3 pointer, Jokic just gives AD a little nug and he's on the ground Lebron is watching Jokic grab the rebound and makes a last ditch effort to try to affect the shot.
