Would you say its worth it for gaming over a more expensive TV? For the price point I haven't found any other this cheap with features like 120HZ, HDMI 2.1, and VRR

I just picked this up today for $1299 at Best Buy, I just hope itll fit where my current 75" LG Quantum Dot is.
75’’ screens measure in at 66 inches for width and 37 inches for length. When it comes to 85’’ screens, their width is 74 inches and their length is 42 inches. It will most likely. By the way, we love our Sony Bravia and the picture is amazing! Thanks for watching and keep me updated on your install and your thoughts on the picture quality!
@@UltimateTechHub yeah the stands are further in that the LG ones are. Worst case scenario I might have to move the bookshelf to the left a few inches.

U need to move it down to cover the outlets
My old 85 inch Samsung hung perfectly over the outlets. However the Sonys wall mount holes on the back of the TV are much lower causing the TV to hang higher. My wife likes it higher but I will lower it eventually. Thanks for the great comments!

Why did you add the receptacles for tv power + cables but mount the tv so high that they're left exposed?
The previous TV was an 85 inch Samsung and the mounting holes are different on the back of the Sony TV. I think they are Vesa mounts so the TV is higher on the Wall Bracket. FYI - I ended up moving the wall bracket down about 8 inches down so it covers up the power outlets. I wasn't sure I was keeping this Sony TV so I didn't want to move the bracket. However, I love this TV! Thanks for watching I really appreciate it!

Why can you get a 75" tv fir $500.
But ONLY 10" more....(85"tvs) are MINIMUM $1,200?????
It’s typically due to the refresh rate. 60hz are cheaper than 1200 85 inch but 120 hz makes it smoother and more realistic
those $500 cheapos are 60hz, usually a basic smart chipset, basic LCD display, you get what you pay for.
Also you have to take into consideration the processor and menu speed of the cheap TV's they're typically awful wait times to do anything.

Is it a long lasting tv
So far so good. Sony makes quality products so it should last for many years.
Who has a tv mounted almost in the ceiling?
The Sony TVs have VESA mounts so I will have to lower the bracket sometime in the future. However we do TV reviews so I may replace it with a LG or Samsung next month. So moving the mount may not be needed. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.

Depends on your budget. 85 inch 4K TVs are usually around 1800 to 2000. So this is a very good price for a Sony Bravia. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
What happened to the Samsung tv?
It developed a line at the bottom of the screen and it was pretty noticeable. I took it back. I will get another Samsung again and it will be an OLED. Thank you for watching.
