Yeah...now you're talking ! Superb.... When I became involved with Simple Minds in 1978, it was because I just fell in love with their uncanny and instinctive feeling for sound, atmosphere, rhythm and of course presence! They were simply wonderful. Their journey of musical exploration and discovery over the next three years was a joy and quite remarkable. Thank you for exploring this period in Simple Minds career, and very sympathetically and subtly remixing and posting these songs and tracks...Bravo. ❤
A wee bit off kilter , I bought Scared to Dance in a record shop on Lothian Road whilst in Embra on holiday but I can't remember the name of the shop ? It has been bugging me for over 40 years ; any ideas , cos Google isn't helping !
@@grantlaw9947 No idea I'm afraid. I did run my own record shop at the back of Mr.Smiths coffee bar in Lothian Road...1965/6. ( mod days) Scared To Dance was released in 1979.
Wonderful remix and the snare drum sounds particularly amazing here. Still hoping for Come A Long Way at some point. They've just started playing it live again. 🙏
I never liked Simple Minds; I could hum them on the bus and enjoyed their music wafting over on the breeze but my mate had a Glittering Prize t-shirt and I left it at that.

We love you Bruce! Still sorely missed. Love it that you're still such an active fan!
Are you the Bruce Findlay that I used to visit your record shop every saturday in the 70's Rose Street?
@@lawrenceomond7341 I am the Bruce Findlay that had the record shop ( Bruce's) in Rose St Edinburgh( '69 to '81)...🙃🙂👍

This track continues to inspire me . One of their best sans doute ! I never want the tune to finish !

Honor for the first Simple Minds.."this is the eye that crying first"
It can't be overstated how influential Steve Hillage was to the band at this time, and especially this album(s).
Brilliant as always
What a sound.
Utterly, total awesome! 🙂
This is amazing! Thank you!
Brilliant again, captures the magic !
Great job! The consumerism of the 80s soundtracked by the alternative European rock of early Simple Minds. Fusion!
Your best got better 👏👏👏 amazing work 👊
What a killer tune/remix/video this is. Captures the electricity and nostalgia perfectly.
Excellent Visuals and A Fantastic Extended Version..... Certainly Brings Back Memories! :-)

Love brings the fall.
