Vikings fan here and you are definitely right. The Vikings do more exotic blitzes than anyone else with Flores at DC, this film is definitely going to help Purdy with his blitz recognition and understanding when he needs to hit the hot read and when to stand in and deliver

Everyone saying we need to run the ball. Every time the Niners did, it was almost stuffed immediately. Most of the yards this game came from passing. Purdy threw for 319. Nobody was open hardly. Need more separation
Purdy has got to hit Mason on some check downs. He misses him all the time. He did it against the Jets a couple of times and forced the issue this game. Teams are honing in on him forcing it down field. Take what they give you sometimes.

We are definitely not the same team we use to be, we’re still good, but let’s face it, injuries to our aging vets, the addition of newcomers, the subtraction of some of core players from last year, the lack of practice and training camp, and an inconsistent O-line play is why we lost today. Kyle will need to be held accountable if this season doesn’t go as planned, instead of drafting a solid o-linemen in the first rd he went with Pearsall a WR who is not even really needed at this point, and Purdy needs to step up a bit more, he has regressed a little bit.

purdy had throws that were there. That throw to the endzone to aiyuk that got rule out of bounds, he had a wide opened guy on a quick out and didn't throw it there. This offense is too reliant on the rushing game.
Purdy has a pretty good game , just Ayuik hasn’t been there these past two games
