that's the best thing people don't realise about projectors they don't hurt your eyes as much oled/ led or lcd they hit your eyes and damage them from the direct light from a TV is a blinder

Not only has a projector replaced my living room TV as a main way to watch content, but I also have an Ultra Short Throw in my Primary Bedroom as well. I'm more a fan of having a little bit of image fading when the lights are on vs the OLED glare and reflections showing up in my super deep black scene in my favorite movie/game. Also, the aesthetic is way better than having this giant black mirror hanging on the wall all of the time. The pastel grey on the wall from the fixed frame projector screen is more appealing than reflections everywhere.
Now my goal is to replace all flat panel TVs with some form of projector whether it be ultra short throw or long throw. Our guest bedroom is the last room in the house to lose the Flat Panel TV in favor of a UST. It's just a matter of time for me. Good video, you got a "like" from me.

Love the rising screen, I have a xgimi horizon ultra with a 100inch pull down screen and the picture still impresses me every time I watch a movie.

After the recent horrendous experience I have had this last 8-10 days with both LG & SONOS this set up most definitely is worth considering - buying from top , high end manufactures like the ones I just mentioned & spending £1000's I have learned the customer service / customer care is absolutely awful from these so called leading manufactures - Thank you guy's @ shs for your continuing help & support .

I’ve owned my AWOL 3500 for around 2 years now. Great projector. I’m using a 100” ALR screen. With 98” TVs from Sony, TCL And Hisense coming in under £5000 now I think I’ll be moving to one of those for the superior brightness and contrast.

Yeah , awol is superior to those

@@cordcuttercam No projector is superior to a tv what with their limited brightness and contrast levels. The only benefit they have is up to 150” screen for a much lower price.

Don’t do it! Trust me, a tv is so much better and so much brighter. The only people that are using these screens or RUclipsrs they get them for free and a few unlucky ones it fell for.

Such an ignorant statement. The ultra short throw laser tv is taking mega market share from the LED TV’s that have been out for 30 years. I have this model with a 150” screen and it’s bright, vivid, immersive and makes your home into a cinematic experience that is hard to beat. You won’t watch the old school LED after enjoying the LTV 3000 from AWOL. I’ve experience it, Michael 4K hasn’t. It’s the fastest growing category in the home entertainment market.

I have this projector and it rivals the best of OLEDS

Won't beat or match her performance sure but I prefer projector because it won't blind me like a tv....it's worth less brightness. That doesn't hit directly
