Hey gang! I just wanted to follow-up and say thanks for...well...EVERYTHING! I'm currently working out the kinks and getting used to using the new camera and equipment, which everything here at LNL is a work-in-progress, but we'll get there (sooner or later). Now that I've thought about it, I know what I did wrong in this episode. I had the new Rode mic pointed more toward the amp than at me (my bad). This was really just a test-run, so now I know I don't need to point anything at the amp, just focus on getting ME in the mix. We'll get this dialed in soon enough. Thanks again everyone and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! \m/ STAY TUNED \m/
The other thing I love about Eric is that he seems to really be having a great time whenever the guitar is in hands. So much joy in his love of music and the instrument.
Yes!! Eric Gales just slays on guitar! Been a big fan of his since his first release. The Gales Brothers - Left Hand Brand is one of my most favorite blues albums ever!! Thanks David!!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!! i FIRST SAW ERIC ON THE SIGN OF THE STORM TOUR WITH HIS BROTHERS. RECENTLY SAW HIM AGAIN WITH HIS WIFE OF PERCUSSION. SUCH A KILLER SHOW!!!!
I just wanna start off by Saying Merry Late Christmas to ya , and to ALL who watch your channel here . Also Eric Gales is one of my favorite dudes to watch & listen to these days . I’m just still amazed at how he just took a Right hander’s guitar & turned it upside down & without re-stringing it or anything like Hendrix did , he just learned how to play it his way …… and does he ever play . I love the one RUclips video where he and Joe Bonomassa square off in a guitar Dual on a Keeping the Blues alive Blue’s Cruise …. 😉. Any Thanks David for all you do & share with us , and Congratulations on your new gear . Hope everyone has a Happy New Year . 😎👍
A lot of people don’t realize or appreciate that while Eric is a left handed guitar player, his guitar is strung right-handed with the high E on top and low E on bottom 😮
Hey what's up man happy holidays to you and yours. Can't wait to check this lesson out I really like this player a lot hey man if you get a chance I'll send you the link. If you get a second check out this young dude from Africa, his name is Elijah solo, but its one word. He plays in that African I'm not sure what it's called but I was wondering if in the near future you could do a lesson on guitar styles from around the world 🌎 and different cultures. The one you did with the Japanese scales and The eastern sounding scales were extremely helpful like always. Anyways just a thought. I'll be he no matter what
@@gregmize01 thx, I'll look for it. I just didn't see a playlist for "gear" or anything. I remember him going over his Spyder and his PRS Vela when he got it. But I've always wondered if he had a few stashed under the bed that are being collected.
@@HarlanHarvey76 - Hey, I currently have four electric guitars, one acoustic, one nylon string, and a bass. I've had a lot of guitars over the years (Kramer, Ibanez, Schecter, etc...), but the four I have right now will be with me forever. I'm currently looking at SG's and would like to get a jazzy semi-hollow someday. Also, my amp is a Behringer V-Amp Pro and not a Spyder - just a heads up! Also, if you'd like more of the gear side of things, be sure to search for "Happy New Gear" episodes and anything that says "Updates & Upgrades" in the title. Those are gear-related videos. Thanks for watching and ROCK ON!

Hell’Bell’s, good sir. You do not disappoint. Really appreciate your uploads. Happy Merrineum.
Good stuff, Man. New equipment looks great! Hope 2024 sees continued success for you.🤘

Awesome riffs.
You can literally not do enough videos about Eric Gales licks.

Good Lord have Mercy….David that’s a Fat A** sound brother for Paralyzed! ❤❤
Excelente work man
Also not mentioned are the 2 albums from Pinnick,Gales, Pridgen… 3 fantastic musicians. Great albums.
Would love to see some Lance Lopez. His music sounds like the soundtrack track to a bar fight in a biker bar……in Texas.
❤
Killer stuff David, thanks a lot for sharing! Would you do another three-for-all Eric Gales licks episode anytime soon?
Would love to see a Grateful dead / Jerry garcia related video at some point. Great stuff!

Hey David! Question - how many guitars do you own? Do you have a video where you share them?
HE DOES HAVE A VIDEO WHERE HE TALKS ABOUT EACH OF HIS GUITARS

@@LateNightLessons that's right! I knew that. Spyder is an insult to the V-amp.
Great lesson, awesome rhythm parts. Your voice is too low (I read in your post you already know this, just wanted to give you my feel on it)
