The goofy outfit of Loki is the original loki outfit from comics. 😂
The Thanos helicopter was a nod to a comic where Thanos had his own Thanos-copter and ended up getting arrested by the NYPD. The blade Thanos used in Endgame was also a nod to the Thanos-copter since it was modelled on the rotors of the helicopter.
Thank you for that! I'd been wondering what that was since the show first streamed. I stopped reading comics years before there was a Thanos.
Funny thing about the blanket scene: neither of them feel cold, they're frost giants 😂
They just wanted a romantic scene 🤣.
Only Richard E. Grant can dress in the classic original loki outfit and be this badass
I've been seeing a younger Richard E Grant watching British panel shows. He's so good!
I can’t wait for you to see Loki’s purpose
last episode is probably the best one of the season cant wait
Season 2 is very much a continuation of this season but much more in depth. I know people have been saying you can "skip everything" to get to it, but your watch schedule is so fast and consistent that you won't have forgotten anything if you continue in release order. I wouldn't skip anything, even if you get a little 'over-saturated' with content; you have to think of phase 4 (the multiverse saga) as needing a whole lot of introductions to 'a wider universe' basically as a new phase 1. Half the avengers are dead or retired and you have to give the newcomers some bit of history, before dropping them into a team situation. I have no problem with doing slower character studies in a mini-series. And whether some shows are "better" or not is totally subjective, I will say that they stay unique to themselves. Loki is different from Wanda-Vision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. There will at least be variety, even if everything isn't your taste.
The MCU is very much becoming the comic book store. By that I mean, people who shop for Spider-Man may not give a crap about Thor, the Avengers, or Squirrel Girl; the comic book store is so big you can follow your own favorite storylines and the MCU is quickly approaching a state where newcomers will almost certainly watch things out of order or skip whole storylines and then decide to go back and watch things they may have missed... and nothing should really be hurt by that. Treat it like a flashback or a prequel. That is to say, if you do skip something, don't worry about it, like with Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow being slightly out of order, it doesn't matter how you met Valentina first, only that you meet her. And Marvel changes the release order on some of these anyway, so "who said or did it first according to release order" is ONLY good for trivia nerds. Lol.
I really love this episode. Especially the way that our Loki just gets to see... and realize how absolutely petty a lot of his variants are. How petty he was. And now he gets to say that isn't the person he wants to be. Heck, he even inspires classic Loki to rise above the squabbling and embrace the glorious purpose. In Avengers, the "glorious purpose" is such a selfish, self-serving thing... but the true glorious purpose is anything but that. There are a ton of easter eggs in this episode. It is worth looking up a breakdown of them. Like that little Thor you saw was Throg... a Thor... who was a frog. Something that is, in fact, from the comics. And yes, in the comics, there were runs where Thanos would fly around in a little helicopter with his name on it.
Oh, and I'll say that you're not ready for the next episode, and you are nowhere NEAR ready for season 2. Just make sure that after this series is done, don't skip What If...? It may not have the same direct relevance to a lot of our core characters from the Sacred Timeline MCU, but it is a whole multiverse of fun!
Weird name?
Arborists prune tree branches
TVA prunes variant branches
When it's standing up, it's an hourglass. When it's on it's side, it's an infinity symbol.
I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since we saw this episode and the finale, I remember having an MCU overdose but it became worthwhile.
17:58 The insist joke doesn’t really work there not related they are the same person🤷🏽♂️so basically he’s in love with himself😭
we called it narsicist
Curious whether your plan is to go straight into season 2 or continue with the release-order viewing.
I recommend continuing with release order. Some of your questions may be answered by upcoming MCU films and it will make the plotline in season 2 make more sense.
For all time
always
ALWAYS
The dumping ground landscape is a look and find game to find what you recognize in TV, movies or comics.
You wake up in the other place with a bag of prunes next to you..that’s why they call it pruned

Finally i can end my day with this Reaction...

18:00 ..... "Flipper Loki"...?🤨.....🤔...
Beautiful Sam : )
it's not incest, they're not siblings or related. At most it's masturbation
Can you bump up episode 6 by a day and release it tomorrow.
I would ask to bump whole season for tomorrow lol
woah just finished watching ep4 reaction😍
I am completely up to date on the MCU, and I believe that, if you wanted, you could go right into season 2 without tripping across or causing any spoilers. What do you guys think, and what does everyone else think?
The agatha trailer dropped & i wenton a tangent about dr. Doom as a placeholder for this show's Main villain...
while it's nice to see these other Loki variants I feel like they should've showed other variants of other familiar characters
ok
I would love for you guys to go right into s2. I know it is not release order but going back to mainline mcu kind of kills the momentum.
To poll the fans and offer options:
A) Release Order
B) S1-S2-Release Order
C) S1->AM3-S2-Release Order
D) Other (Comment)
~ I had a roommate that watched WV ep.4 with me.
It was his first time seeing anything MCU.
His viewing order (it kind of works)
WV
Ep4
Ep1-4
Ep 5-9
He then wanted to see her origin.
So then we got Civil War-Endgame
Then he wanted Iron Mans story.
So we watched release order past end game.
Do whatever brings you the most joy. Love your reactions. Keep up the good work. Your pacing is excellent.
Yeah, I would vote for option (B), if I am understanding correctly, which is to go right to Loki season 2 and then go back to release order. Normally, I am a big fan of keeping it in release order. But in this case, there is nothing in Loki season 2 that either either dependent on or spoilers for anything else that comes after season 1.
@@jerrydeschler9306 you understood correctly and that is my vote as well.

Isn't it ironic, don't ya think.
A little to ironic, ya I really do think...
