I'm so happy I found this channel. I had been lucky to study Nihon-buyo in America for about 4 years until the pandemic, when the school closed permanently. It was a really life changing experience, so thank you for creating a channel where I can refresh, and improve what I know, and perhaps get back into my studies. Best wishes, you're doing great!

Will you do another video about getting and keeping your hips in the right position? I’m having the most difficulty with keeping my hips down.

Darling, I'm in love with your traditions! Since childhood I've been crazy about Japan and everything that represents its history! Thank you so much for sharing such good videos with English subtitles! Out of curiosity, what kind of kimono are you wearing? Is it a Tomesode?

Thank you for watching my video.☺ I often wear YUKATA in lessons. YUKATA is often worn as casual wear at festivals, but we use it as sportswear. TOKESODE is a formal wear for Mrs. It is often worn by the mother of the bride and groom at the wedding.
