@@thatemocat gta 3 has horrible glitches, buildings being not solid is 1 of them, but still it's fun to play. Its the hardest if you play on og version because of the limitations
As someone who played all of these games when they were new, Absolutely NOBODY disliked GTA 3 for not having bikes, a wardrobe, more pedestrian variety, or swimming. We didnt even know we wanted those things until we got them in later titles. We were all just absolutely blown away by what the game DID have - A open city that felt alive in which you could do tons of outrageous things both during and between missions.
Exactly I thought it was a bit rough the video criticising 3 and vice city. In my eyes they were massive game changers. No one seen a video game world like this before, everyone was just enjoying for what it was. I still think other than 5, vice city also had one the best storylines, voiced by some legends ray liotta, Danny Trejo, phillip M Thomas, Danny dyer and loads more. Absolutely incredible game it was a masterpiece.
We didn't know what missed until newer, better versions came out. I am sure that I spend hundreds of hours on each game. The only thing I may have complained about during their release was the inability to swim.
yep i agree, whoever complained about these things is just a spoilt entitled little brat, gta 3 was ahead of its time and you could do soo much more in an open city than you ever could, stupid video
I played GTA 3 in 2006 After i player GTA SA and Vice City and It blew My mind how it's so good despite being The First 3d title in the series ,,,, And i see most of the complaints here makes no sense ,,, As a First Version It was like perfect with story and Gaming and all ,,, Only Thing i always wanted in Gta 3 and VC is not being able to swim (Because I already played GtA sa) otherwise I don't see much to complain,,, i can compare a 2012 game with 2002 one to make me a joker ofcourse
Thing is 3 and Vice City aged like milk in a trash can, they are in desperate need of a remake or at least an update just so they can reach at the very least gta san andreas' style and gameplay because while SA still holds up pretty good for today's standards the same can't be said for 3 and VC. Now those games are very frustrating to be played especially if you want to complete their story. Why? Clunky and bad controls, limited gameplay, bad aiming, enemies with ridiculously overpowered guns (some mobsters can blow up your car in literally one hit with a shotgun in gta 3) and especially bad AI that often makes you fail missions without it being your fault but just because the game's AI is simply terrible like that mission in 3 where you have to escort that van for donald love that near the end often gets stuck on a wall instead or reaching its destination forcing you to fail the mision and repeat it from beginning, or Copland in Vice City where you have to babysit Lance's dumb AI that just slows you down and increases your chances of failing the mission of the 90%.
Yeah imma describe the worst things to GTA 3 to GTA 5 for me GTA 3 worst thing about it is If you complete the game not doing side missions then the side missions are impossible to do now because every gang is now against you and the vehicles in GTA 3 are the most weakest cars in the game they get destroyed in a few seconds GTA vice city worst thing about it is probably forcing you to grind to get the expensive buildings that’s about it I could be wrong about that GTA San Andreas worst thing about it for me is Sweet as a character is god awful we got that character out of prison and treats us like garbage doing ridiculous stuff trying to get sweet out of there and Sweet is just disrespecting us and that he can’t obviously see Big smoke was gonna betray him GTA 4 worst thing is probably Kate because Kate does not have much character that’s about it Because everything about GTA 4 I enjoy or have no issue with GTA lost and the dammed it’s to ridiculous to be taken seriously somehow a biker can survive a ton of shots and glass and helicopters GTA the ballad of tony has no issues at all I can think about GTA 5 worst thing it did is added GTA online where it ruined the series for me

A big underused feature in GTA IV was the option to turn story mode off or “silence” your cell phone. Doing so would pause the story and all those call spams until you were ready to resume. The game gives you the option to turn all that off and players always forget lol.
Even with the phone turned on the calls were not interrupting the game for me. Its sad that peope only talk about roman bowling when they hear gta iv, instead its best game ever made
Just curious, where is that option? Do you open your phone and go into settings or do they ask you about it at the very beginning of the game? Never came across this before.
I liked the Rampage challenges in GTA 3 and VC, removed from SA on. The real worst things from SA was having to dive a lot of time only to get the ability to enter one mission... The other is the annoying Cesar's calls to inform that "the cash is leaving Los Santos again"
Rampaging in SA is Gang Wars. Although both of them have the same rampaging like killing gangs. The different from previous GTA games is VIce City Stories, you can repeat the rampaging while you finish it.
The stuff "missing" from GTAIII should be taken with a grain of salt. Remember that the series jumped from 2D top down in GTA2 to fully 3D in GTAIII. Fully 3D in a massive open world was pretty awesome at the time.
It was amazing, only the things I hate it is not as peaceful as Vice City, after you completed all mission, every gangster is out there for your blood, some of them even shoot you with shotgun, it's quite annoying if you drive or even worse walk along there and mainly there are everywhere on the map

Dark theme in GTA 4 is hated only by 12 year old GTA free play kids, who doesn't want to get the story, but just to have fun around and blasting... The players who understands the story of that game loves that dark theme which matches with the story and the theme musics were also extremely good and matching the dark theme and story.

San Andreas was the best for me. There were a lot of buildings that could be entered. More activites to do like dart, pool, disco and you even have girlfriends to date. Gang turfs, riots, skills to improve. It even has gym to workout and learn some fighting moves. I just dont understand why Rockstar remove those things on GTA 4 and 5.
do you know character switching feature in gta 5 is a feature san Andreas was about to have and there is still code for it but they didn't continue with it cause ps2 so just imagine if the feature was removed from san andreas brought back how amazing it will be even tho its amazing for all of us
I'd rather be stuck in gta San Andreas than gta4. Heck after beating gta5 its soul was not much better than San Andreas. Tho online gta5 got me back into it after 7 years.
Too bad the Definitive Edition was such trash, a properly remade GTA San Andreas maybe with GTA V quality graphics and a more expansive game world would be amazing.
Zero's missions were something more than challenging, but the Pilot school/learning to fly was definitely the most difficult mission in GTA SA. Zero's missions weren't compulsory to complete the storyline, but Pilot school was mandatory! Edit -: I agree with your statements about the mission 'heli hell'. Though it was another side mission (more like a challenge mission) ,it was difficult than the other missions.
both are easy. zero missions are not that hard, just unusual. learning to fly levels give you so much time and you can take your time to do them properly. i would say, among flying missions, freefall and vertical bird are the hardest. if you include side missions as well, heli hell takes the cake.
@@konuralpyldzkan1495 I agree with your statement about Zero's missions. Freefall was definitely challenging and among the most difficult missions of SA, but I've never seen vertical bird as a difficult mission cause I managed do complete that in 1 try, while it took about 3-4 attempts to pass freefall, I had to try more than 80 times to pass Pilot school.
I remember being pissed playing the flying schoom missions cause I failed them constantly, but after 8 playthroughs now I can get gold first try in the helicopter missions and gold 1st-3rd try in Plane and the parachute mission.
Yes. Out of all the GTAs 1-5 this was the one I had most fun with. I actually felt I was in Miami, looking at the graphics, mapsize etc it's aged for sure, but my memories of driving around miami mid night with the 80's music pounding... :) Just wonderful.
Another flaw you forgot to show in GTAV V was the lack of accesible restaurants, they added variety of restaurants but you can’t enter to any of them, only minimarkets for candies and soda. That feel like big steps backwards compared to what GTA Vice City added.
Rockstar says: So we decided that the game's protagonist would not talk, partly to aid people identifying with him, but mostly because we had so many other problems to solve and this did not seem like a major issue. This is what Rockstar said on why the main person in GTA 3 wont speak
honestly, gta 4 removed a lot of things, but i think it was for the best. the story for the game was a more serious story compared to the rest of the gtas, so having a lot of features they removed (like tattoos, fancy clothes, etc.) wouldn’t really fit the environment of the story, and some things would seem really out of character for niko to do.
@@TheDapperDragon the story is a lot more dark than the rest of the games, hence the dark tone in the textures and lack of things other gta games have. maybe dark stories aren’t for you, and thats okay, but again, if the game still had all that stuff anyway, it wouldn’t look or feel right. niko seems a lot more mature and humble than the rest of the gta protagonists, so seeing him in designer clothes, fancy cars, and different hair styles would look unusual.

A shout out to the banging radio stations and the music in all the GTAs - especially vice city. That soundtrack made the game. The satirical adverts on the radio and the witty branding has always made me laugh, that’s the soul of GTA
This may be a hot take, but in defense of Vice City, a smaller map is not always a bad thing. If recent games have proved anything, it's that bigger is not always better- one of the last things I want in a game is for its world to feel more bloated that it actually is.
Bigger games are literally always worse. It's mathematically objectively correct the best games of all time have intricately designed levels or sandboxes. Sandboxes are PERFECT. But this new open world nonsense is DESTROYING gaming

Video shows that every GTA being different is a blessing, some like me enjoy action and light tone, but there are people who absolutely love GTA IV for example and tbh. I understand why rockstar did cut some features from San Andreas, probably they wanted to focus on things that were more important for more story-focused game, where our character is one of a kind and changing his appearance too much could destroy his image, they wanted him to have.
I always liked to imagine that Claude is simply mute and can't speak. Kinda like your mysterious mute guy that you sometimes see in movies and they're always badasses. So I wouldn't say that Claude being mute was the worst part of GTA 3. The worst part was simply how clunky the game was and you really noticed that once Vice City came a year after. GTA 3 always felt like an unfinished test game that was finalized in VC.
No bro, it's okay for Claude to be mute or for Tommy to not swim, the games were still revolutionary, and back in 2002 probably no one needed swimming or many accessible buildings. Yes, GTA 3 has way less stuff to do compared to V or even San Andreas, but when it was the only available game, nobody complained about Claude being mute or not being able to swim. GTA 3 is the game that made Open World games the standard of Videogames, GTA 3 made Open World popular, and without GTA 3 we wouldn't have other famous non-GTA games, we would be stuck with closed world Mario and Pokémon Games. GTA 3 and Vice City were revolutionary. Yes, I only played the Definitive Edition on PS4, but I didn't hate them. Heck, VC even became my second favourite GTA game, the 80s feeling, the story, the weapons, the sounds, the characters, the places... The mission of killing Diaz to get control over the Estate is among my favourite GTA missions ever. The TRUE worst thing about GTA 3 is not Claude being mute, but Grand Theft Aero, Espresso-2-Go, The Exchange and the Payphone missions like Kingdom Come and Bling Bling Scramble 💩💩 that's what I hate about GTA 3, not the character being mute 😂 but the useless difficulty of some missions. As for Vice City, I don't care if Tommy can't swim, the TRUE worst thing about Vice City is the damn RC Plane mission of the Haitians 💩 that's way worse then Tommy being unable to swim in Miami. I even hate swimming in GTA... I remember when I swam for 40 FRICKING MINUTES to augment CJ's breath in San Andreas to do one Mission... After this, I don't like swimming in GTA Anymore. And I hate falling in the water in IV, TLaD and TBoGT. Speaking of TLaD and TBoGT, but IV as well, the WORST things is that you can only carry 8 rockets... Stupid limitation that Rockstar Games added for no damn reason. Too bad you also have limited ammo for that one particular shotgun in TLaD, it's literally the coolest weapon, and you only give me 248 bullets ?? Lol
The worst thing about about gta IV is the fact that there are no mission checkpoints. If you fail a mission that took you like 30 mins you gotta do it all over again.
Older GTA games were not for the faint of heart. Modern gaming in general has gotten so much easier and forgiving for players and offers a lot of hand holding for those who struggle.
I used to spend most of my time in gta4 jumping out of moving cars just to watch the body flop or smash into things. I agree that the lack of ragdoll physics in gta5 was very disappointing. I heard they toned it down because it was "too real" and they were worried about people struggling to separate game from reality. The age-old battle against video games. Hopefully they go all out in 6! Realistic ragdoll, don't cut to wasted before the body settles, and bring in some sim racing or BeamNG developers to work on the driving physics.
Did Rockstar really said that? It doesn't even make any sense for a company that literally puts the smallest details in their games to correlate with reality
But, GTA V physics are more realistic, aren't they? Like, when you fall off a bike in reality you just scratch the floor, this is why you can survive a 120km/h crash on a bike if there is nothing to stop you? Ragdoll removing was such a good choice god damn. Ragdoll doesn't make any sense. It breaks the immersion and turns into a circus. The issue of GTA V is the over use of ragdoll actually, falling like a an idiot because you try to jump something that is 20cm or rolling down a slope endlessly. They pushed reality but didn't adjust it correctly, should've been patched long ago.
It's pretty obvious that some of the complaints with some of the older GTA games were from a modern standpoint, not really from the perspectives of back then. Like, some of these complaints, honestly, are quite understandable. GTA 3 and Vice City probably had a lack of NPC variety due to hardware/technical limitations at the time. GTA 3 also was very limited in terms of accessible places and no clothing change because it was the first of it's kind, so ideas like that were not even thought of yet. As for GTA 4, it probably had no planes because come on, it's a map full of nothing but city, unlike in San Andreas and 5, where there was tons of open space for them to roam free, so planes probably wouldn't work well with the GTA 4 atmosphere and map. Also, the tone of the game was intentional as a way to fit with the setting of not just the atmosphere of Liberty City, but this darker tone fits kinda well with the darkish story. As for GTA 5, although it was in the same location as San Andreas, Rockstar clearly was trying to do something different. Also, the physics are a little more realistic in some respects compared to GTA 4, like in that game, characters can flail around like ragdolls, but in GTA 5, the physics coincide with the fact that characters are living, functioning humans, not ragdolls, giving them a sense of muscular control.
Fr. Like if I jumped out a moving car, I’m gonna try to control how my limbs are moving to help cushion and protect myself (like you stated 5 does), not just flail aimlessly and let them move around like in 4. Every release has its pros and cons; and tend to follow the trend of removing something its predecessor had while including something its predecessor lacked.
A fact that will always creep me out about Vice City. 2002->2023 = 21 years 1986->2002 = 16 years Shows how drastically the world changed from 1980s to the 2000s
Yeah. Although, the 2000s is where the Internet was primitive at the time before the 2010s - present drastically changed for the better or worse. With AIs becoming more popular now, I feel like we are getting closer to science fiction came to life.

It is worth mentioning about Claude's customization: During the first mission he can be seen in prisoner clothes. It is possible to use them with mods. Also, in the game menu, in settings>player, it is possible to change Claude's skin, between two versions: Default, and old Claude, with mustache, brown leather jacket, and light blue jeans.
There was a "skins" folder with .bmp files in it. And a lot of skins could be find in internet. I remember, I was playing as Terminator, Spiderman, Cop, Zombie, Punk... A lot more of them.

My biggest critique towards GTA V was always the one island thing, especially since we've been used to that map design since the very first GTA. It was always fun experimenting with glitches and tricks that allowed us to cross into the next island although the bridges were still shut down
I never focused on islands, just the world on them, also SA doesn't really have islands, it has two i guess but they are both so massive and barely disconnected from eachother. @@lylahsworld3930 LOL no I do not remember the gang war, i'm not doing any further missions, i keep failing because I obey the traffic lights and then the other people get impatient, you randomly run out of time and you fail. I am also not the kind to skip missions, otherwise I keep missing the clues from the characters or what they say to me. I also didn't feel like humiliating the movie stars so I just play GTA V for the cars and stuff. I also disagree with the car dealer about how he throws racism around, like, who do you think you are, so no.... I've kept trying to tow with Tanya and to confiscate Michael's car but at the end, i was bored with how i got a time limit and gave up. I haven't played GTA 3 at all, so I guess i can't talk. I guess i'm not a great player, that's all. Missions sometimes are easier than free roaming since you can do a lot more and have more places to hide. If you're just doing your thing and driving around and happen to end up in a fight with a gang when one of their clowns rams into your car, you're often toast. Their aim is not bad at all.
My biggest flaws about GTA V is that if you driving really fast some NPC’s in cars will swerve your way making you crash. It was really annoying in police chases(more specifically the missions where you are in a car and trying to get the “not a Scratch” thing) where you would get cut off and crash(sometimes lose health and die) by some Stupid Driver. Also the fact that if a wild animal gets to you one time you die so you have to kill it before it gets you. Another thing is that police know where you no matter what. They will even spawn in front of you, lets say any that you are in a one way road. You have a wanted level and the police are looking for you, then a random cop will spawn directly ahead of the road and since its a one way road you can’t turn back or the other cops will find you.
It's kind of the theme in GTA V..... the city is in a bad shape. Drivers being horrible is a normal thing , you learn that as soon as you let your character check out all of the websites on your phone....

The concept of Claude being mute actually adds a huge element of mystery to his character, which I find makes him more intriguing than any of the other main GTA protagonists. Plus he will never say anything cringeworthy or ridiculous that makes you want to stop playing the game lol
Any of the other is a huge stretch i mean the GTA 3 story wasnt really that interesting, which is why i prefered to play liberty city stories. i found toni’s character to be far more interesting way of just following orders blindly
What I've been saying for years. I was always curious about Claude's past and family members. Whether he was mute by birth, due to an accident, or just faking it (least likely) etc. Probably the most interesting character for me alongside Niko.
In IV and V there is a prison. All games have their bank heist, too bad they didnt include a prison escape mission as well. Being put inside, preparing the escape and eventually breaking out would have been so much fun... Another detail that really p... me off is when you start a mission and the guy asks if you have a car... Like for the heist in gta IV... Packie : we need a car man... So the bloke wants to rob a bank and doesnt even have a damn car.... Very realistic indeed 😤
In gta 3, they have no bikes cause liberty city banned them. As for the water, it has too much oil in it. And rockstar made claude mute because they felt it wasnt neccessary
i think they made him mute to make him represent the players. That's why some RPG players prefer "mute" characters like in Skyrim for example. Me personally, i prefer my character to have a voice, even in RPG, like Mass Effect series and Fallout 4.
@@andya.4253 Oh ya, GTA Online is good example. I think that's why they add Claude as an option to be our father when making the character lol. And also the fact that we can use mic to voice our own character.
@@Half-Vampire As much as I love 4, it is a terrible example. 8:15 actually this feature was included back in San Andreas But due to limitations of ps character switching got removed Players could have switch between cj sweet and caesar
7:09-7:12 The thing is that GTA IV is in a "REALISTIC BACKGROUND HISTORY!!!" way, and the story is probably the best of the franchise and Niko is the most developed character in the series. This part of "no funny activities just to hang around" was indeed a backlash, but they probably thought that it would match with this much darker backstory. Sadly it didn't end well and the game became severely underrated, and nowadays it is considered a masterpiece.
Exactly. They tried to bring some fun through DLC The Ballad of Gay Tony, where you could entertain yourself with parachute jumps, cage fights, golf, air hockey, etc.
I feel like if they add more variety to the mission or make the story flow much better, or even name it anything other than GTA, it would absolutely be one of the greatest game of all time. The thing is, people expected a LOT of things after what GTA SA did and the franchise is kinda known for their sort of ridiculousness. Its still my favourite GTA game tho in terms of story and overall tone
Vice city is actually significantly bigger than gta 3, it just feels smaller due to having 3 islands. And the fact the buildings are usually blocking your view in gta 3!
@@lolookie1682 it is NOT. Once again, if you think that GTA 4 had more realistic car physics - drive a car yourself or order a taxi and see how it tilts on the turns
9:00 about the map, i didn't like that the wilderness never felt like actual wilderness. You go to the woods or the desert in San Andreas and it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. In V it never feels like you're not that far away from civilization.
Closest thing GTA 4 had to character switching was entirely different DLCs but the characters were in the same universe and they did cross paths a few times.
The worst thing in gta 4 is the optimization, it's so bad that back in the days the hardest mission you had to do was running the game without bumping into a bunch of issues lol.
I don't find Claude being mute (or just silent) a bad thing. In fact, being silent can bring you a lot of advantages, from not having anyone recognising your voice after you just committed a crime to being a good listener and totally intimidating. Claude may follow orders from totally different organizations, but he doesn't do that thinking about being loyal to them. In fact, Claude will not mind betraying his former 'employers' for his new ones and will do the same thing with with latter ones if their new employers ask him to do so. He only does that as a way to help him fill his revenge against Catalina. While most people see Trevor Philips as a psychopath, he doesn't really fit the picture (psychopaths usually don't have or show any mental instability, and Trevor has serious anger outbursts he has no control over). Claude easily fits as a psychopath for the simple fact of being emotionless, remorseless, and overall, disloyal throughout the whole game. But we understand him, as Catalina (who is also a psychotic bitch) shot him and left him to die.
Well said dude!! Also Claude was the most badass character in whole series because he was voiceless and actually couldn't understand what he is thinking.. He was a true enigma
While GTA III - VC - SA were upgrades, GTA IV was starting from scratch on the new engine again, the features weren't exactly "cut", they just didn't have enough time to add everything.
Well it was a huge improvement over sa from gameplay wise and graphics also, it's just that at that time engine was new but still it added many details that even gta 5 doesn't have
@@shadowking773 GTA 4 does not have more details lmfao, even if it did a npc pulling out an umbrella when it rains doesn't make it a better game. Physics are less over-the-top and actually make sense, and the story is nothing more than a opinion. GTA 4 is boring as fuck to play after you beat the story, as it has literally nothing to do afterwards.
The worst part about 4 for me was the lack of mission variety. Every mission was just go to X place and shoot a bunch of guys. I liked the side stuff. I actually enjoyed free roam in IV. Much more than 3&VC actually. But the missions were ranging from boring to annoying.
@@the757general2 true. lost and damned missions felt a little repetitive though like at the beginning, just a lot of of gang wars with angels of death and I understand that’s the theme of the game, but starting with when we meet Thomas Stubbs and work with Jim to deal with the corrupt cops, that’s when the game kicks off with its unique missions.
Even though parachutes are mostly omitted from GTA 4, they are used in GTA 4 Episodes From Liberty City in The Ballad Of Gay Tony. Even then, you still don’t get to fly planes. To do that in GTA 4, whether you’re playing the base game or the two games that make up Episodes From Liberty City, you’ll need to install mods to fly planes. Even then, the experience is very rudimentary. There’s no engine noise, no animation for ailerons, rudder or elevators and you cannot retract the landing gear.
Flying planes in GTA 4 wouldve killed the game's feeling if it was to be implimented. The map is meant to feel huge whilst being relatively small and the game achieves this by giving us slow vehicles and keep us on the ground. Even the fact that you can fly choppers is a little too much for me in this game. Its important to feel small in a game that feels big for imersion. That's the reason GTA IV feels so alive and big unlike games like Just Cause 3 where everything feels dead an empty but you get to fly super fast vehicles that struggle to cross the map because of how actually big it is. Depends on what approach you like but many still prefer a more dense more imersive and detailed map rather than a big empty sandbox with no quality and effort put into it.

GTA 3 worst thing about it is If you complete the game not doing side missions then the side missions are impossible to do now because every gang is now against you and the vehicles in GTA 3 are the most weakest cars in the game they get destroyed in a few seconds
GTA vice city worst thing about it is probably forcing you to grind to get the expensive buildings that’s about it I could be wrong about that
GTA San Andreas worst thing about it for me is Sweet as a character is god awful we got that character out of prison and treats us like garbage doing ridiculous stuff trying to get sweet out of there and Sweet is just disrespecting us and that he can’t obviously see Big smoke was gonna betray him
GTA 4 worst thing is probably Kate because Kate does not have much character that’s about it Because everything about GTA 4 I enjoy or have no issue with
GTA lost and the dammed it’s to ridiculous to be taken seriously somehow a biker can survive a ton of shots and glass and helicopters

That's a dumb explanation. The real reason why the physics was actually dumped down was because of the limitations of the PS3.
Don't cut to Wasted at all. I liked the GTA 4 death sequence better because it didn't do that.

Also, the physics are a little more realistic in some respects compared to GTA 4, like in that game, characters can flail around like ragdolls, but in GTA 5, the physics coincide with the fact that characters are living, functioning humans, not ragdolls, giving them a sense of muscular control.
also not to mention that the ability to steal a airplane in NYC 7 years after the twins fell would not be good for rockstar
@@circleinforthecube5170 that is so true
Fr. Like if I jumped out a moving car, I’m gonna try to control how my limbs are moving to help cushion and protect myself (like you stated 5 does), not just flail aimlessly and let them move around like in 4.
The one island of V works way better especially when it looks so realistic, wouldn't make sense for it to be seperated by islands.
@@thirdhandlv4231 Why not have the map on the mainland instead of an island? Just separate the playable area from the non-playable area by building a moat around the map.

For me the worst part about GTA III is the fact that after you complete the game, nearly every gang in the game is hostile towards you. This makes like 75% of the map (especially Leone territory) an instant death zone!
In GTA V, however, I feel like everyone is hostile despite having done just 1% of the storyline.
@@Firemarioflowergta v is a lot easier though, you can easily fight them off. In gta 3 the shooting was pretty clunky, especially on ps2, the leone gang also had really strong guns which would kill you super quick
@@lylahsworld3930 Yes, one on one it's easy. A group however, is another matter
@@Firemarioflower have you even played gta III? Gta v is super easy, you can skip a mission after three tries, I would have killed to have been able to skip S.A.M after three tries. You have lock on in gta v, enemies have awful aim, your health even regenerates. A group in gta v is easy, remember the gta v mission where you were in a gang war with Lamar? If that was a mission in gta III, it would have been super hard, especially on Ps2, there was no cover in the older games, and the ps2 shooting was atrocious, I’m not sure about pc, but I’m guessing it was loads easier.
Even though GTA 3 has a lot of bad stuff, it's still my most favorite GTA game out of all the others, even San Andreas.

NPC drivers are my absolute most hated thing about GTA V. I hate when driving the opposite way, they honk, and start cursing at you for no reason.
It's kind of the theme in GTA V..... the city is in a bad shape. Drivers being horrible is a normal thing , you learn that as soon as you let your character check out all of the websites on your phone....

The thing is that GTA IV is in a "REALISTIC BACKGROUND HISTORY!!!" way, and the story is probably the best of the franchise and Niko is the most developed character in the series.
