In theory, this "could" be successful "IF" Disney executed these attractions at 100% full throttle from beginning to end. However!!!....after watching Disney in the past 5-8 years....we KNOW that Disney will half-ass ALL of this. This will temporarily look OK on paper but it will certainly have the rug pulled out from under it half way through the project. This is Disney's track record and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Universal Florida sucks, islands is good but flawed, and epic is not even out but I think it will be good. Yep agreed there was only one character who had the power to talk to animals, at this point they’re just throwing darts at the wall and see what sticks even though it doesn’t make any sense. I mean just look at how much the last Indiana Jones bombed, why they would want a whole Encanto land and Indy ride where Dinoland was makes zero sense.
It is all about limiting cast members. Building more lands means more people to operate and maintain them.
Not to mention more power to these executives that are really running the show.
There was a time when Disney didn't need a lean on an IP or two for the Identity of a land. Disney used to include some education into these attractions.
At least at Animal Kingdom, respect the lands as they reflect different environments around the world. Animals first. Encanto and Coco should compliment the different eco-zones and they should not be adjacent to each other.
The description of the attraction seems more look like Mystic Manor (HKD) than to Phantom Manor (DP).
Encanto will entirely be an exact copy of Mystic Manor except with an Encanto theme. Phantom Manor is just Haunted Mansion with a half French/English narration..
I had a real harsh debate with one of your RUclipsrs that love Disney so much and they were praising Tiana‘s new attraction by stating that they went with the imangineers to New Orleans and he swears that splash Mountain now looks exactly what they saw in the Bayou. Even when I told them that there are no mountains in the Bayou, he seem to disagree with that. Also, when I brought up what you guys said about them only having 17 animatronics, he said that I was a complete liar and that you guys were liars and did not know how to get your information correctly because, he personally was able to see the animatronics they were putting in and there are more than 17 and that they were no dead spaces. He also stated that they do not use screening to fill in the gaps and that the animatronics all of them all of them he said has, the top animatronic faces, and then video screens are being used on their faces. Again, he said that you don’t know what you’re talking about, that his information is correct because of the time he spent with The imagers and that all of Tiana‘s attraction goes for beyond anything that the imagers have done. I brought it up to why you haven’t been on the ride and I told him that they were a couple of people that I knew that went on the right completely and were so dissatisfied with it that they quit and he said well they there was no way possible they would talk about it. However, they did and they quit because they were embarrassed by the ride itself and that’s all they said so no NDA would cover their opinion whether the right is good or bad as long as they did not talk about any specifics, and they shared the same information you put on on your Vlog. I finally told him that the only reason why they’re saying the way they’re saying is because they are such Disney lovers that they could not see or find where all these people are saying that the main lock flume drop outside looks like someone’s butt hole. I just wanted to let you guys know because I believe you guys over these people.

With all due respect I don't really take any RUclipsrs word for it these days that includes wdw pro and his friends sometimes I do agree with others I don't and there are times when I'm debatable on the subject. When it comes to this ride play I find a hard time believing that actual people who worked on it will talk to do wdw pro some kind of contract stating that you're not allowed to talk about subjects and not finish for a company

The Indy 5 movie was an epic flop, and I doubt that it generated any merchandise sales either because people usually don't buy products associated with flops. Truth be told, that entire franchise has been dead in the water since the third installment nearly 35 years ago. So the question is, "Why create a new Indiana Jones feature ride now?"
I don't get it. They killed Star Wars, then opened the Galactic Starcruiser Hotel to great fanfare, only to have it shuttered in a little over a year. Are they really this tone deaf, and out of touch with their audience? I mean they don't have to read the tea leaves when they've got all that red ink on their box office receipts.
I wouldn't say it was dead in the water. There were still books, some video games (an all time great one in the bunch IMO) and such.
First of all O'Reilly's not the same thing as a movie if they do decide to create and Indiana Jones ride they could base it off of the first three movies
How to get the crowds back to diznee world ?
Easy! Two simple steps!
1. Remove the excess DEI bloat
2. Remove the entire board and executive entirely without any “golden parachutes” due to the amount of damage done to the diznee IP.
After an initial period of time, maybe a few decades or more, then the trickle of people may begin to come back to the parks.
The sheer amount of damage that has been done to the brand is near impossible to measure and repair now without looking at extreme measures to fix said problem.
3. What do you have to take in consideration not everybody gives a crap about dei cycling not everything about the brand is damaged as you think it is
Disney really do be speedrunning the downfall of the parks at this point.

The IDEA of a Tropical Americas land in AK seems interesting but the focus seems to be more on the featured IPs than anything else so idk

I’m “Latino” and a Coco/Encanto land only makes me NOT want to go to a Disney park even more than I do now! I’d definitely choose Dinosaurs over that, not even a question!
I disagree I love dinosaurs as much as the next person but there's nothing wrong with coco/Encanto being made into an attraction at Disney world that's not exactly a bad idea

I think the issue is they’re taking out a classic crowd pleaser that will forever excite audiences and putting in IPs that will be stale in a number of years….

Colombia is part of south america, this country is the most biodiverse in the world (for square meter) not is only the antonio animal conecction, animal kingdom need the capibaras, toucans and others amaizing tropical animals.
Since Phantom Manor (Paris) is basically Haunted Mansion (Doom Buggies ride system included), I believe this new ride would rather be based on Mystic Manor (Hongkong) the narration and trackless system do match
First off, Disney does not have any dinosaur tv show or film that’s really popular and the land itself is just awful so I don’t blame them for taking it away.
Secondly, the only read why they are absolutely adamant about putting Encanto in the parks is because Lin Manuel refuses to make any more Encanto projects until Disney has built an Encanto attraction at the parks so that alone tells you that Disney is desperate to have an Encanto sequel or series made.

Pro you always get it wrong… It’s not phantom Manor, which is the haunted mansion style ride in Paris. It’s Mystic Manor, which is the trackless dark ride in Hong Kong Disneyland that is the ride that it’s going to be similar to Mystic Manor you say Phantom Manor in almost every video lol

Nolan Thunder is saying the same thing I've been thinking. If something is good just keep it maintained and fresh looking and start something new. They have plenty of space. And then focus on good and capacity as your main goals. (I should say the theming should fit, but Disney no longer cares about theming. Only representation and "the message" matter.)
I think many of the hardcore Disney fans, they simply don't care how good or bad Disney does. But for many of them and for the medium core Disney fans a good experience is all that matters. (At a fair price.)

Animal Kingdom has been open for 25 years. Over that time has Disney properly maintained and added new attractions. Instead of adding they are swapping and in the swapping how many exceed the value of the attractions they have replaced?
7:05 if the encanto dark ride is similar to phantom manor then it will be an omnimover because that’s what disneyland paris’s ride system is but, if you are meaning mystic manor at Hong Kong Disneyland thats a trackless ride system! either way an encanto ride gets me stoked!

Haven't Disney now been redefined since the fight with Desantis? Maybe they can't just tap into new ground so easily, anymore. There might be zoning rules, licenses, inspections, all sorts of things that would raise the price, compared to just changing something already developed.

This has gotten me more excited about Epic Universe, it seems that Disney has forgotten the importance of talent, and only cares to pander to their CEO’s and executives. Hopefully other companies pick up on this that way they don’t suffer Disney’s ever increasing demise.

Dinoland always made a positive impression on my family. It was like a park within a park with a few cool rides and 1 decent Restaurant. How exactly is Encanto a land, and what does it have to do with animals? Leaving Dinoland alone and making a South America section and including these rides there would make more sense.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the updated Philharmagic show when I was recently back at magic kingdom.

I see this news as a big problem, becaause of the money they have set aside for parks. So where is all this money for this new attraction coming from?? If they own 20th Century Fox they should bring the Alien franchise into Animal Kingdom. It may be too dark for the kids, but it would be a thrill for teens and adults. Plus it would be a draw for the Universal crowd.

Major mistake not doing more for COCO. Much better franchise than Encanto.
That being said if they keep taking away rides to build new attractions or meet and greets it will be lackluster. They should have kept snowwhites dark ride at magic but instead opted for a princess meet and greet, splash should have stayed. I usually go to Disney for the nostalgia, if they keep taking classic rides and putting worse franchies to replace them then no need to keep going. They have the land should just build out the parks more.

Building a brand new land based on Encanto and Coco sounds fantastic. Taking an existing land and sticking plastic plants over it and giving it a new coat of paint UNDER COST CONSTRAINTS .... no thanks. This is Disney. They should go all out and do it right regardless of the cost. If they can't fix and maintain what they already have, don't replace it with cheap, boardwalk fun house attractions just because it's different. Universal should be a concern 'cause at this rate, they are going to eat Disney whole.
When you get rid off of that works to be replaced by the DEI crew there is only one outcome... Failure!
I just didnt get Encanto. I didnt understand why the girl didnt have a gift, i didn't understand why they didnt talk about Bruno, I didnt understand the plot or the resolution.
Dino land has been junk for years, wouldve preferred the mythical beast land originally promised at AK
I like Encanto and Indiana Jones but that doesn’t mean they belong together, nor do they belong in Animal Kingdom. Jones needs to stay in Hollywood Studios and Encanto should go in a Columbia Pavilion at Epcot.

They’re not adding capacity. These changes are just replacing existing rides. The parks are screaming out to ADD capacity. Hollywood Studios is the same it’s desperate for more lands/rides not replacements. The juggernaut that is coming next year is going to be Epic and even now we are hearing leaks about phase 2 with Luigi’s Mansion, more Potter, more monsters😅 Embarrassing from Disney but I’m not surprised anymore.
If Universal then adds more to Nintendo world like Metroid to take advantage of Dinosaur closing down at Animal Kingdom then I think that'll clinch it for sure.

Penny pinching for bloated salaries of management, it’s disappointing. Nelson P. Needs to take over sooner than later. Let him see the books because these budget estimates do not make any sense whatsoever. Window dressing existing rides and slapping a new label or IP is not going to cut it for consumers.

Separating my current distain for Disney, I think this could be a hit. The biggest obstacle being the reported low budget. To keep beating the dead horse, this is why Iger has got to go. A financial conscious CEO would invest in parts of the company that have a chance to make the most money. Iger however, is going to piss away more money by giving to Marvel/Feige
If it weren’t for the Parks/Cruse-ships, Disney would’ve already filled Chapter 13.
