    Happy New Year you guy's 🎉. Bloody awesome vlog, glad you gave your real feelings and review about Fraser. The wife & I also really appreciate you guys for the vids touring without a van. Yeah it always hasn't got the modcons and bed just to jump in, but go anywhere, no additional hassles but what's in and on your car. We only get a away for a few months in the year.. but it's exactly what we do, and wouldn't change it for anything. Thanks for taking us along with you this year. Can't wait for next year. Be safe, live, laugh & love. 👌👍

      G’day Mark, we can’t thank you guys enough for coming on the adventure with us. We are loving exploring without towing at the moment and just the simplicity of go anywhere. There is certainly pros and cons for every setup isn’t there and it’s finding what is just right for you and tweaking it along the way. Getting away a few months a year sounds perfect, plenty of time to explore your incredible backyard. Hope you guys have some awesome trips planned for 2025 yourselves and we can’t wait to share what 2025 has in store for us. Thank you again for the support it truely means the world. 👍❤️

    Hey guys. Glad you went over to Frasier and had your experience, BUT, As a Sunshine coast local that’s been there 20 plus times, those two episodes (especially the first one) would have to be the most awkward reviews of a destination i’ve watched on you tube. Mate. Firstly, do your homework with tide times when going on the beach, ESPECIALLY FRASIER. You went over on high tide and couldn’t drive up the beach, you were up at the cape at a tide to full, you were at Eli creek on the wrong tide to cross, you were at champagne pools on the wrong tide. And you were there the week of Schoolies. Done a lap in 22 and still think Frasier is our number one spot in oz. If i can, I’ll give you guys a “hot tip”, Plan yours next trip to Frasier and you’ll enjoy it so much more. In the mean time, keep up the videos, love watching your adventures

      Not everyone wants to do it that way mate, sometimes not planning stuff and going with the flow, is the go, especially when you're out there all the time like they are. In addition, not everyone wants to follow the crowds and do it like everyone else. The best that Oz has to offer, is subjective. Have a good one.

    • @chasingdreamsau
      @chasingdreamsau  2 дня назад +4

      Hey mate, thanks so much for your support and for taking the time to share your thoughts! It’s great to hear how much you love Fraser and how passionate you are about the area.
      To be completely honest, what we show in our videos is just a small snippet of our trip, and there’s so much more we experience off camera. For example, we visited Eli Creek a few times over different days but didn’t always film it because we wanted to just enjoy the moment for ourselves.
      We totally understand that Fraser holds a special place in your heart, and it’s awesome that everyone can have their own unique experiences. For us, it didn’t quite live up to the hype, but that’s the beauty of travel. It’s all about getting out there and forming your own opinions.
      Thanks again for your message and for following along on our adventures. We really appreciate it!

  • @ozeslayer
    @ozeslayer 2 дня назад +1

    Great episode guys. The mystery ray shark is a Shovelnose shark also known as a guitarfish. The bird was a Kingfisher (small relative of the Kookaburra who is also in the Kingfisher family) We used to camp on Fraser in the 90s and it was epic back then. Hardly anyone there and much less regulated. You could literally just pull up and camp anywhere.

    • @chasingdreamsau
      @chasingdreamsau  2 дня назад

      Thank you so much mate, we really appreciate you sharing the information. Pretty lucky to capture some pretty incredible creatures like the Guitarfish and Azure kingfisher. I could only imagine how spectacular it was back then maybe before it got so commercialised. 👍

      Shovel nose sharks and Shark Rays are 2 different species, Shovel nose in the Shark family and Shark Ray in the Ray Family, it’s an Azure Kingfisher to and there’s 4 different species of Kingfisher found on the island

    I last went in the 90’s, in the old LandRover. Far less traffic, so felt more remote, as an adventure. I agree that it has lovely spots, but yeah I didn’t find it spectacular.
