- Part 2 of our K'Gari adventure. We head back from the West coast of K'Gari (Fraser Island) to explore the Eastern side of this incredible island. More epic beach camps and scenic 4x4 drives, we venture to K'Gari's most Northern tip - Sandy Cape, tackle Ngkala Rocks, soak up the turquoise waters at Champagne Pools and Lake McKenzie, watch a dingo find lunch at Waddy Point, visit K'Gari's historic town Central Station and float down the fast-flowing Eli Creek. We certainly didn't want to leave.

I love what you guys are doing we live in Southern Oregon river and water falls to camp on
Right on, cheers from Canada, just remember that the harder it is for you, the better video it is for us, this is a good one.
Yeah I know 😂 thanks for watching
What an awesome place so nice people help when you are bogged and loved Harper Cam keep up the vids
👍🏼
Well done guys it’s great to see a Aussie family making memories with the kids something to look back on at their 21st birthday party I just come across your channel and subscribed straight away I live in Hervey Bay and get over to island as much as I can when I’m not out caretaking west of longreach cheers guys 👍🍻🇦🇺
Cheers mate, thanks for tuning in.
Great video. You certainly found some magical locations. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
No dramas thanks for watching
Top trip, thanks for sharing. Cheers guys
Genial 👍🤩👌😂🎉
Love the 79 series Land Cruiser guys❤
We so loved watching your fabulous video! We didn't get to K'gari on our around Oz trip because we were in a 2WD motorhome, but we feel like we didn't miss it after watching your superb video. Well done and THANKYOU! 8:28
Thanks for the kind words.👍🏼

New fan, 1st time watching. Great video.
Welcome aboard. Thanks for tuning in.
It will always be Fraser to me. I am through with apologising.
Glad I visited here thirty years ago it’s was so quiet then
No board walk at Champaign pools no crowds at the creek just me and the wife Mackenzie lake
Love it.
Thanks mate.
It's my absolute favourite holiday destination. We're lucky enough to go there every September. Most of the time you can escape the crowds but Eli is ALWAYS packed during school holidays. Have been to the western side before but not Awinya. Will add it to the list next time. You captured the Island well.
Cheers and thanks for watching.
I would love to go camping there awesome
Morning 😊 Awesome Video Mates 👏🏼 Thanks for sharing 👍🏼 Greetings and Cheers From South Africa 🇿🇦
Cheers mate.
Genial saludos cordiales desde Patagonia Chile
You guys are great. Don’t apologize about having sponsors. You have to live. I get it. Appreciate your content. Thanks guys x
fantastico mi sono iscritto al vostro canale .....un saluto dall italia ...good family
Awesome Ep guys to such a special place. I agree up around Waddy is so good and not so busy.
Cheers mate.
Beautiful locations it was all so relaxing it seemed. I loved your Toyota, we can’t get them over here in the States, it’s a shame since the Japanese export everything else to us. You might think about getting “bead lockers” for your tires along with a couple of “Yankum” ropes and sand anchors for your truck to help out in the sand. Thanks Mate, for a great tour of a beautiful island.
Thanks for tuning in mate. And yes bead lockers would be handy as every time I get off the beach I have terrible wheel balance as I'm pretty sure the tire slips on the rim. They are however not legal on Aussie roads.
Thanks for the vid and tips mate I'm heading up in 2 weeks real keen for it
Enjoy bud.
Thanks that was very enjoyable :)
Thanks for the kind words.
Exactly right anyone can get bogged and if you can you should help some people think they can't get bogged and winged if they need to get some one I've actually seen people on firm ground just drive straight past people
Que lugares increíble!!
Absolutely 👍🏼
Great vid guys. You are good at this. Did K'gari in July with 15 psi for the 8 days and didn't get bogged. We also didn't tow a trailer. Great effort to do the trip with the trailer behind you. Looking forward to the next vid.
Thanks mate. Bloody good spot.
* Fraser Island.
Epic!!
Thanks mate. 🤙🏻
❤😊
Creo que no sabes 😂 que se le tiene que bajar la presión a las llantas 😅
Thanks for watching The tire pressures were lowered.
hello from chile
Great video. Have just found you guys and love your style. Can’t wait to head to K’gari for our first time. How do you find the van? We have not looked at them due to having to set the bed up every time and the worry of dust on outback trips.
Thanks for watching guys. Yeah the van is doing well and we like the smaller size of a hybrid. Stay tuned as we are soon to be publishing a review of the UEV-14. Everything we like and dislike.
The location looks amazing! 😊
We are also a family of 4, so I have a cooking question, how do you find the 2 burner stove? Do you find it works?
Hi Raquel. Yeah the stove works as it should, a wind shield would help when it gets windy also.
Thanks love the videos, and advice keep the fantastic work up.
If I could ask ??
Which sat nav do you use for your travels.
I’ve been using the hema but was wanting to try something else out. Thanks
Thanks mate. We use mud maps on a iPad for navigation away from phone service.
Thanks heaps!!!!
Awesome. 😊 curious... whats pressures you running...?
Thanks for watching. 15 in the front 25 in the rear 20 in the van, clearly not low enough 😛
Great video . What is the lowest tyre pressure you will go to when towing with the 79? I ask because recently spent over 4 hours winching out of soft sand at Kinkuna back track with no one around with same car towing my heavy camper . Destroyed max trax in the process.cheers
Thanks for watching. Mate I happily go down to 12 in the front. But more like 20-25 in rear when loaded and towing. You just need to re-check pressures as speed increases temp and pressure. But then you can wake up the next morning and that 12 in the front when hot is now 7-8 which is too low. But yeah it’s def trial and plenty of error, but that’s the challenge right 😂
You'd be able to go 10 all round just for the soft stuff if you're worried about side walls or rolling a rim, 25 in the rear is why you got bogged in that track exit in to the beach, do the same on the van too
I hope there is a video subtitle for Arabic. I would like to watch your adventure. Please work on this.
You reckon you would get the 490 through Ngkala rocks and onto the western side?
I prob wouldn’t do it. I’m sure some people would have a go, maybe if you had someone pulling you as well. You would need like 10psi and to be honest coming back was harder.
Cheers mate just trying to understand the limitations 👍
يجب ان يكون الهواء داخل اليطار قليل بي معنى لوكان 50 يجب ان يكون 30
smells like australia mate ?!
Why don't you lower the air in the tires? This helps the car move smoothly on the sand
Hi and yes I had the tire pressures at 15 - 20 psi as I described in the video.
@@SmartTouringSystems Okay, but in the sand, when you're towing a trailer or something heavy behind you, reduce the air in the tire even more. Always keep it between 10 psi and 5 psi, and don't lower the air any further than that, but if you're not carrying anything and not pulling anything behind you, keep it between 20 and 15 psi. Thank you. Thanks for your beautiful clips
LOL
Do you guys carry hats with you on the road, in case people see you and want to buy them. I hate paying postage..
Hey mate. We have some stuff with us, but yeah postage can be a killer.
@@SmartTouringSystems it's not that's its a killer I just hate Australia post.. 🤣
You mean you went to FRASER ISLAND (K'Gari) ??
No K’Gari, 😊
Fraser Island
Wow didn’t see that coming, jock picking the hilux. Pretty disappointing comparison video again from you guys
dd
Don't go woke.
It's called Fraser not that other political crap
Hi David. Last thing we want to do is have this become political, we checked the name and it is technically now called K’gari and I can do nothing about that. If we had of called it Fraser we would have had people telling us to call it K’gari. so I hope you understand that we are damned if we do damned if we don’t. We put a lot of time and effort into making these videos entertaining and factual. They are definitely not designed to be political.
@SmartTouringSystems the Politicians changed it for brownie points unfortunately bit like a large rock in the NT. It's Fraser Island always was always will be thankyou lov the videos
We voted NO on the vibe on things a few weeks back.
It's called Fraser Island.
@@SmartTouringSystems Cannot climb Ayes Rock, how long will it be before you cannot go to Frazer Island or have restrictions to certain parts of the Island ??
It becomes political as soon as the lefties start renaming places. it continues, when people follow the nonsense and comply with these woke name changes. It devides people. Complying with woke name changes, encourages the left to keep going and that's what they are doing. Now the name changes are spreading all over Australia, but they would never change the name of an Aboriginal place of course. That's not in the leftist agenda and what an uproar that would cause if someone tried it.
So boring really find something worth watching
Another 50 psi man to join our club
But also great content guys drop ya tyres to 8 psi that old girl will purr out of it
