Ned Beatty and Sherry Stringfield were so good in this one. Beatty, especially, at the end of the episode when he realizes that he’s probably done as a judge and he delivers that line: “now what am I going to do?” Heartbreaking
Wait, isn't this the episode where it starts being about how the Judge is completely senile in the courtroom portion and both sides team up to get him disbarred?
Why would they have a car if they never planned to drive it because "its oh so terrible for the environment" (I know that driving a car is not good for the environment but I just mean why own one unless you plan to drive it even on occasion like a family emergency where you can't wait for a train or bus or taxi?)
@@snazzypazzynope, see answer above you, as long as they stored it, no one else could use it either. The wife didn’t care though and it got her killed. What an a-hole, a friend lends him her car to pick up his kids, he uses it to buy drugs, and kills her because his drug dealer killed a cop. Had she done what her husband recommended , she never would have died.
Gotta agree with Lt. Van Buren -- no toilet paper is nasty. I know other cultures have other norms, and that's great for them...but I need my 2-ply Charmin. LOL
It's less a cultural thing than a poverty and technology/infrastructure problem. If you're too poor to afford TP or even access it, you just don't have it so you have to do something else, and even if you do have that luxury you may not be able to use it if you don't have a flush toilet.

Cocaine on the front seat AND a dead body. “I guess saving the Earth is more interesting than I thought.”😂😂😂
legit just bout to comment that and guess what i saw as the first comment

I like that no-nonsense lawyer at the end. “PASS!”
"His story is NOT GUILTY" Love her!
this looks awfully familiar, isnt this the one with the senile judge and the assistant doing all the work?
I think so, yeah.
It is. Kind of a sad episode really. His memory was completely shot and his clerk isolated him so no one would notice.
@@Awwscrewit Biden style.
Yeah Ned Beatty was demented

WTH! Why would they stop that right there... What happened with the Mason guy? Who killed the woman?

They switch from their regular lives to a carbon free one, their car was part of their old life style. I don’t see why they didn’t sell it.
If they sold it then someone else would drive it and leave a carbon footprint
They needed it for the plot to work

Eh, I personally think that using toilet paper is disgusting. I would take a bidet or the hand showers over toilet paper anyday
@@depressedrocksenjoyer9472 a bidet is different from just using your hand tho. so gross 🤮

One heck of a mystery. My type of detective story.
The tomato seed clue was phenomenal.
My 1st thought after seeing 👀 the husband's reaction is he had a part ,at least ,in her murder
Ned Beatty was quite unforgettable in this Law & Order episode.
Ned was always unforgettable.
Is that the one where his secretary was making all the decisions because he had altheimer

How i miss watching this series

To be serious, the case in the Prosecutors side was too hard... More for Cutter
Those people must be rich , I haven't seen milk delivered since I was about 5 yrs old
My mom says the milkman stopped delivering around the time I was born. No, I look nothing like him- he was 90 and retired.
His story is: “Not Guilty” agree in evidence, almost all very much circumstantial.
Lieutenant van Buren i think is also Sharon Goodwin of chicago med - played by same actress
6:31 😂😂😂screaming
Precursor to the judge’s memory issues, genius writing.
I liked Anthony Anderson in Blackish but the way he delivers lines in Law & Order is so cheesy 😭
Saying hello from Chicago Illinois USA 💯 on Friday October 18th 2024🎉🎉🎉🎉
Howdy from Atlanta ,Georgia , October 19th 2024.
Rubirosa should reply, not yet GRANDMA to that nasty lawyer
Seriously. Milk brought in like in the fifties? 😂
When does this show come on i love this show❤
Well this is an interesting story.
Apparently people don't Appreciate those trying to keep earth clean
The lady boss, is she also the head of Chicago Med? And she gives me Kamala Harris vibes 🤩
Harris?? h€££ no! This lady knows what she’s doing. And doesn’t cackle!
04:12 I never knew that Anthony Anderson had a twin brother!
LOL that is horriable
They look nothing alike, racist.
Nobody doesn't leave a carbon footprint..😂😂.. you exhale carbon
It's marketing bullsh*t from BP to make you feel bad for polluting the earth while they pollute more then everybody combined.
I dont, Im made of silicon.

carbon footprint refers to excess carbon put into the environment, the CO2 you exhale is zeroed out by the trees using it to produce oxygen.
