Hi and thankyou. Would the eq settings be different / more complex if one wanted to create a music track for RUclips i.e. using a backing track, adding my own guitar track and perhaps having a vocalist involved. It's a project that a friend wants me to consider doing?

Absolutely. The EQ in this video is just a starting template to save time with podcast vocal mixing. It will need tweaking to each vocal. This video just shows the template rather than the actual mixing.
Mixing vocals to guitar though is another level. I do have more in-depth videos on the mixing process with real examples. I'll be doing a video soon on putting together an intro and outro.

Hi there, unfortunately, Audacity doesn't natively support multitrack recording. Do you have an audio interface/mixer with three inputs? You may be better off using Reaper. Or you can record them as stereo and record up to two mics in Audacity.
