Nice work. What lens are you using with your Sony? I used to shoot hockey professionally for the AHL. I assume you are shooting 4k60 for your slow mo. Do you ever shoot with 4k120? My Sony will only do 4K30 so if I want slow mo and speed ramping I either need to shoot in HD or I will use my iPhone pro max for wide 4K60 and my Sony for close ups for full time action.
I missed my old one shoulder camera with evf for shooting hockey so I use a Zacuto Zfinder JR that turns my lcd into an evf and I have my camera set up on a cheap over the shoulder rig and the control it gives me is sick

Using a Tamron 28-200mm, which is almost perfect... wish I could have just a LITTLE more zoom. I do shoot in 4K120, which was a nice selling point on this camera.... love the 120 fps! I have not had to do TOO much cropping or zooming, so my videos end up staying 4K.... otherwise, I would edit the videos at 1080 so I wouldn't lose anything zooming in. Never thought to use an EVF.... probably because I never used shoulder cameras when filming, so I never missed it.

Yeah it’s cool because you learn to look through the EVF with one eye and the game with the other your brain gets used to seeing both images even if your zoomed in with right eye. It’s weird and it took me a bit when I first shooting for the AHL (Manchester Monarchs) then I fell in love with it. Keep up the good work. Eventually going to upgrade my cam so I can get that 4k60 or even better 120
