Hi there I have a very similar popper and I’m trying to put a dimmer switch but I can’t figure out where the wires coming from my dimmer switch would connect to the heating element, making it dimmable, hotter, or colder, but leave the fan motor running constant? This will be for roasting coffee. Thanks for any help.
At 3:20 when I open the heater element you can see cables going in with a white insulator. I guess you would have to hijack those cables and put your dimmer there. Make sure the dimmer is at least 1500 W capacity. Disclaimer: I'm not saying that it's safe nor that it should be done.
@@photographiedynamicbut there’s three wires with the white insulator over them, going into the element. One wire is red and goes to the on off switch that gives the popper power, as well as to the fuse that is beside the element. There’s also a white wire and a blue wire. They look like they connect to the small element. Would I connect the dimmer switch to the white and blue wires? Thx for any help. And yes, it’s at my own risk. )
Very useful. Thanks a lot

How do i open the main electric wire it is attached to main body with some sort of washer :( unable to open this washer
It's probably not asbestos. It's fibreglass insulation for the heating element.
My popcorn makers runs for 30 seconds and the inside starts getting bright red by over heating. Do you know what might cause that issue?
Hi, is the fan working and does it push enough air through the heating wire? If the air is not flowing then the wires will over heat.
How can I get #fan ??
Any idea??
no idea, sorry. Specialty electronic stores probably will have something.
Really hope that they do not use asbestos in pop corn makers, OMFG!
