Dont think you want to be using that coolant funnel, those funnels were built with coolant line caps. You have it on the expansion tank. Hopefully you drained some of the coolant out so the bob wasnt over filled

The standard recommended mix is 1:1 or 50:50.

my coolant light sensor comes on my e46, will bleeding and purging the system, get rid of that problem?

Bleed it with the bleeder screw while car is running and heat all the way on. Make sure the red bob in the expansion tank is at the right level after bleeding.
