Fixing My Z4's Coolant Leak

Cracked expansion tank. That happened to me twice on this car. I went through 3 of those tanks!

Haha yea it was a fun one to figure out. I wondered if it had been changed before. Definitely finding less bolts than expected to remove shoild have been a dead give away. 😂😂

Brilliant video.
The plastic tray underneath my Z4 was just clipped on using gravity no bolts. The other smaller trays were broken
Half the clips had fell off or were corroded in. Had to send it to shop 😔 for new rad.
Keep on at it! Did LEJOG recently, it was seamless and days of fun.

Leaking where bracket connects to radiator? Argh. WTH. Cannot figure it out. Finally got everything else replaced and sealed and now. Pours out bottom

My problem was I needed to add an o-ring as some of these parts don’t always match up perfectly. But surely that is half the fun 😂

I let used the Halfords NAP free ready mix that their website advises. Nothing to exotic and odds still holding up brilliantly

Well after servicing the coolant system my self it has survived a drive down to Monaco and been round the ring so I think it is going well. Still need to sort that headlight out 😂
