It is detrimental to the usa because for example, woke people believe criminals who steal are actually oppressed and shouldn’t be punished and only be given help and social programs. Except this is not how some humans operate and punishment is the only way to deter or stop them. A lot of these things are started with good intentions but sometimes put into practice these good intentions are detrimental.

If I understand, it is a leftist ideology promoting a social change which includes:
- Promoting the LGBTQ+ community recognizance and making it a permanent part of society;
- Promoting the personal freedom of choice to both adults and minors to make reversible and irreversible medical procedures such as abortion and gender acertance (I think that's the name);
- And making an overall "revolution" of morals which would lead to a leftist-based society.

@@Johhny_McMerica Best example of wokeness. Colleges demanding higher test scores from Whites and Asians over Blacks and Hispanics so they can meet their diversity requirements. These losers then go on to get good jobs while have little to no skills or qualifications and are simply getting their path paved for them due to the color of their skin. Allowing natural born men to compete against natural born women in sports is another woke topic that needs to be stopped. Taxing successful people to death to pay for deadbeats is also not working. This is what drives good people from the cities and along with it, the good jobs because no one wants to deal with the crime and high taxes.
