I am very fond of Beethoven's sonatas and have more than ten collections of played by different pianists. I always go for Buchbinder's recording with no conscious reasons. The other is Gilels', which unfortunately is not a completely set.
@@aegeanbo I have only 2 sets: Gilels & Buchbinder which I both appreciate a lot. The cd with Gilels performance of sonata no. 14 got destroyed while moving alas. It is interesting to see a live performance of Buchbinder, I have only heard him on CD.
Maestro Buchbinder is one of the greatest piano soloists of present days.
