When you read a Comic Issue you finish it within a few hours. It not a novel, it doesn't take 3-4 days.Ya'll would complain if she didn't get her powers back until season 2. The progression of the Story is going to be fast because there aren't any filler episodes and these are comic adapted arcs. People want 3 and 4 part arcs that are 30 mins long when the comic issue is 50 pages. People wanted to see Madelyn go to Hell, learn magic, talk to Demons lol its not realistic for the amount of time.
@@TheMorlun Who said "spend hours" wtf is wrong with u. I said few which can be 2-3 hrs. If it is a collection of Arcs in one book yes. I might read 1 or 2 issues and take a break. An Omnibus Like The Fate of Phoenix is over 400 pages and ALOT of text and cool details, that takes days to finish.
You weren't playing attention when he bought them into that classroom he said I bought you to the astral plane that is where souls go b4 birth and after death . That is how he sense something is bad happened there souls passed threw there during death 💁🏽♂️
Well in the Comics Xavier didn't die he left with Lilandra to be healed & nobody else died in that time either so IDK what the problem is & I'm impressed how much more they're sticking to the Comics then the original show!
Yea it seems nobody listens to Lilandra when she speaks lol. She said we have the technology to save him but they may never see him again. I figured he was alive bc nobody seemed sad or grieving and they knew they had to tell the world something and the Shi-ar are probably big on discretion when it comes to sharing things with earth.
The whole thing about professor x died puzzled me.. like if this series is supposed to pickup where it left off.. that means that xavier never came back to earth and he was with lilandra this whole time..
@@goatkublack604 well to be honest that was a slightly cringe way of resolving the conflict. Not sure how everyone will react to it. But I mean I donno, he really couldn't complete his speech and perhaps didn't even follow his own ideals in the end rushing to earth.
Charles never dies in the show, they say it in episode 1 but the world at large thinks he's dead cause it's easier to tell the world he's dead than we used Magneto and Jean Gray to channel Charles' psychic power to call his space girlfriend so they could hopefully fix him and we don't know if he'll survive.
@@viamlegendThanks! It seems more people jumped right into this show w/o knowing the end of the last one. Understandable but personally i would have at least caught a vid doing a breakdown.
The last episode of the original series Xaiver went away with Lilandra hoping the Shiar could save him from what Gyrich. Did you watch the original series?
Xavier being in the opening this season every episode was always a hint he is still alive just like Erik & Remy not being in it this opening. I took that vision of Earth & the mutants from Chuck as various connections to people ending at once. With Remy being his strongest psionic link being torn apart. Which makes me think Magnus survived somehow. If you don't like something that is fine and dandy but sometimes we all need to watch things again and in the right headspace because you definitely missed some things in viewing this episode.
You didnt seem to pay much attention when watching. Maybe it would have made more sense if you had. Forge was clearly using a book to cast magic, no shit it is going to look like Strange's powers... Almost like they're telling us he is using magic 🤦 Likewise the astral plane part is clearly in the Astral Plane as they tell us it is in the Astra Plane... I feel dumber for having watched this.
You sound like a real piece of work. 😂 Lame af criticizing someone who actually has a following and doing their best to keep us interested and giving us his opinion.
While not as hard-hitting as last week's episode this one still had great moments. We see the return of Xavier and the Shiar including a canon by the third Summers brother Vulcan. Professor X continues to prove that he is a badass when he's pushed. While I do wish we could have seen more of Powerless Leather wearing Storm, at least another episode or two, they made up for it by giving us her OG 70s look, one of the best looks. We also got to see the tease of Gambit as Death, which is telling us Sinster is only a part of the puzzle.
Xavier die in the series. They just took him away to treat him, but the men had to say he died as a cover and they didn’t think he would return so it’s technically not a change.
Charles never died at the end of the original series. Lalandra took him to heal him. Magneto actually helps Charles contact her in the lsdt episode. I loved Professor X's premonition, because this gives off the hint he will become Death.
I don't remember professor X completely dying in the original series finale. I thought he was seriously wounded and have to leave with the shear because he needed their technology to keep him alive. I haven't seen this episode yet. No. I'm not the type who minds spoilers. I'll watch it later tonight. Early on, I think is the type of episode you won't fully be able to appreciate until you've seen it a couple more times. Maybe watch it again before the next episode drops and then do a complete season one rewatch and see if your opinion changes. Again, I haven't seen it myself, so this is just a guess on what you said and what I've seen and heard before on other shows and movies. Agree with you on them hotshoting the territory by showing professor X is alive so soon. I think I would've saved that for a larger season one finale or maybe even a season two finale with a cliffhanger for the next season. This show is writen by people who are ten times better than me, so I'll wait and pass full judgement later. For now, they've earned the benefit of the doubt.
I just watched the episode, I feel like the professor X plot line was fine, I just feel like it didn't fit in this episode maybe they should've waited and added it in either later in this season or push it to season two.
Plus got a question. Did Marvel have the rights to the Shi'ar empire before the Disney fox merger. If yes, then why the f did they give us all this crap fr the past 3 yrs. Where we cld have had a star wars/ dune styled inter-galactic conflict following the events of endgame. And on earth it cld have been felt in terms of secret invasion. That's an entire phase right there. And then we could have had the multiverse after that.
I loved the episode, but felt Storm having her powers back was too soon. Xavier showing up is a nice build-up and this series needs moments like this as breathers. Gambit showing up to Xavier, but not Magneto, might hint that Magnus is alive. Also, I felt the episode enhanced the impact of the attack on Genosha.
This episode was much better than that filler episode 4. That episode is the lowest point of this season so far. This new episode is ok, at least it's relevant to the overall story unlike episode 4. I do agree the 2 stories being told can be a little distracting but at least they both move the story along. Gladiator was doing his Superman thing, Forge did his Dr. Strange thing. Storm's powers returning was a little confusing but a great visual. How her costume magically appeared and her hair magically grew full is beyond me. But an overall decent episode.
Disappointed in the writers’ lack of balls, already bringing back Professor X. Same goes for Storm’s powers. Basically guarantees that Magneto and (somehow) Gambit will also return.
not feeling the direction of the story on this ep. Xavier should not be introduced this season bc he "supposed to be dead"... It will confuse people that didn't watch the old series. Not to mention they stressed that he was dead in 97 so much makes it weird to randomly see him now. I think it would have been better to just treat him as "dead" for this season (personally)... It would have been cool for them to somehow write in Onslaught with the "death" of Magneto and Xavier.
Its obvious to the older audience that he was alive lol. We remember Lilandra saying they have tech that can keep him alive. I knew he was alive because the X-men weren't grieving so I figured the Shi'ar might have wanted to maintain discretion and don't want to give earth to much info about the empire. So the X-men had to say he died in the assasination attempt in the finale of TAS.

@@brandoonf6962 I think the point of them adding Easter Eggs in the intro is for people to go back and watch the animated series to understand and catch up. Also TAS has been on Disney plus since 2019 lol so people really need to do the research if they are confused. @@brandoonf6962 I think they are doing it slowly ,like we got the Goblin Queen and The Adversary. They are also laying down the foundation of magic, demons and deities in this universe if you notice Forge is a shaman thus hes able to be a mutant and wield magic. So now we can have Villains and even heroes that use magic or are Gods because the foundation is layed. Shoot we might see Thor and Dr Strange next season lol
Xavier never died in the last episode of OG X-Men. Go back and watch that convo, it was always left in question.
