- Hey Horse Lovers! Today was a VERY EVENTFUL morning on the farm! We start off the morning by feeding and taking care of the horses then I decide to groom, tack up, and go for a ride! Wait till you see how Gaston does during our ride. ALSO, you won't want to miss what I do with Mushu during our training session! Ezzy is so smart and since she had such a great start in life she is trusting and unafraid which is so wonderful. So adorable how Ezzy cantered over to see her human mom and then ran back to her horse mom. Showing how much she loves you both. Warms my heart. In the video where you were going to ride Belle she reared up on Belle's butt to see what you had put on top of her mom. She is incredibly smart and curious and will make the most fantastic riding horse due to her intelligence and fantastic build. Having said all that, my favorite horse is Mushu. I really, really love that horse. He is such a talented horse and so beautiful. I would LOVE a horse like that. That transition into canter, Mushu's first one under saddle, WAS PERFECT!! Omg, I cannot tell you how much I love this horse!!! You have a really, really great horse in Mushu. I also feel like he really responds well to you and tries his best. Mushu is really worth investing your time into. He's getting a bit heavy, and the training will do wonders for him and his waistline. Lol. Maybe he needs less grain or something? Would hate to see him get metabolic. It can happen so quickly with easy keepers living outside on pasture. Anyway, I just love him!!!

Ezzy's flying changes look very balanced and smooth. She certainly takes her exercise and muscle building seriously!
@@cattymajiv No actually I did mean Ezzy. I watched closely while she was playing and cantering and her flying lead changes (granted, without a rider) are nearly invisible they are so smooth and balanced! I have a feeling that with Mushu's heavy, thick build, he will never look as light on his feet as Ezzy. I think Shae really lucked out on this foal! thx for the feedback though

Ezzie is such a beautiful foal she could not be more perfect unless she was born broke to ride.😁😄she is just Gorgeous! I absolutely cannot wait to see her as a yearling she has such a personality. And of course Belle is a beauty too. I dont care how many auctions you go to or how many horses you see it will be so hard if even possible at all to find 2 as beautiful as Belle and Ezzie. Not to say your other horses aren't all uniquely gorgeous in their own way. But Belle and that little foal just have my heart.💘

It seems to me that Ezzy has a dream to be a race horse, I love seeing her do zoomies! She runs past her mom and looks like she is saying, "look mom I'm so fast and I'm gonna be the fastest race horse in the world!" She picks up the speed and gets on it, and loves it!

So much going on in this video! Penelope and her chubby jowls are freaking adorable! The Moosh - his canter looks pretty comfortable and rhythmic…and he stopped GREAT from the canter! What a barn full of stars 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ezzy is definitely curious about everything but knows her place and she backs away!! Very intelligent for her age.. Heard dynamics is a must to have things in order and run peacefully. I’m glad I found this channel, you make it all look so easy yet I know it is not. I’m glad to have found someone who actually enjoys working with their horses, instead of some of the drama I’ve seen in other videos. You are gentle and kind and love them, giving them the opportunity to learn and excel in their own right. It is the greatest gift we can give them. This makes all the difference in training and learning, both for rider and horse. Thank you for sharing your life and experience with your horses, they are awesome animals and beautiful creatures. 👍❤️🙏🏼

I have a real soft spot for short stocky horses and I am only 5'1. The stable horse I rode before getting my own was a Quarter Pony shaped like Mushu. I mostly rode bareback and she was perfect for that. Very sweet and patient too, her name was Coco.

Gaston made me think of the type of horses that would be used in police or military parade formations. The beautiful brown color with the black mane and tail, and black stockings.
Mushu did so well in the arena with the variety of trots, canter, etc. Then there’s Belle and Ezzy in the pasture with Baghera. Ezzy getting accustomed to being around the other horses, such an important part of her growing up as part of the bunch. 🐴

Watching Ezzy bounce around in the field differently will put a smile on a person's face. Did her blue eyes turn brown? I was hoping they'd stay blue, but she's still a beautiful little filly. I envy you.

I’m pretty new here but am impressed with the love between you and each of your horses. Your videos are so crisp and to the point too. I wish there had been a “you “ when I started with horses at age 6. Never had my own, and with what I now know about horsemanship from devouring RUclips videos, it’s a good thing. I rode rental horses, mainly in Philadelphia, but even in Austria and Rome! I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I’m 79 now! No more riding, not in the last 15 or so years… spine problems. You’re a bundle of energy and knowledge 😊

FYI have read some vet studies and more than I expected, quite a few studies mention that some foals are weaned off their mum by 6-8months w/o any human intervention. Their mums do participate as they’ll nip their foals away from their teats.
