You never showed the screen and that is the important thing you destroyed the phone for nothing that just does not show anything to people they are interested in knowing how resistant the screen is and getting started With basic everyday things like a key or coin, not everyone is going to put a knife on their phone in their day to day
This exactly. Test hard with everyday objects someone will have in their pocket with the phone. Nobody is going to keep open knives in their pockets. WASTED test and has no real world scenarios.
I was hoping for a real phone, but this is the same mock unit that I hand to my customers to feel the weight of the device instead of disabling the security. These are not real devices, they are plastic and glass fabrications made to be put up in high risk locations in case of theft or damage. As such, this is not a true durability test.
It's not the real phone, but it would be nice if you had started out with things such as coins and keys first to see if that scratches, then move on to the more extreme tests. It's hard to see if the coin you used even scratched the phone because it was already really scratched up from the blade.
@Ct pizza mate the clock didn't change the screen when you did see it didn't change when he touched it. That phone was 100% not a working phone. It was a display phone.
2:08 Jerry: Here we see scratches at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7 RRTech: Imma just use the sharpest blade and scratch the whole thing up
Its a dummy. Check out the time. It just stays at 12.45 in the whole video start to end. Though it gives some idea about the folding mechanism and the so called armour aluminium.
@@lki9153 The only difference between a dummy phone (made by same company) and the actual phone is only the electronic parts inside the phone are missing. The body, finishing and the overall feel of the actual phone is just the same as if you holding a real phone. In this case you can also experience the hing mechanism, its feel and its body's durability as its technically a real phone minus electronics inside. And thats exactly this guy is trying to show, phones body and hing durability. But ofcourse the real deal is the screen durability and all the other aspects which can't be tested on a dummy phone.
@@mahipalnakrani8293 But not clarifying in the title, video, or description that this is a non functioning replica is highly misleading and click bait-y. They make it seem like it's a retail unit, not a display mock up. The person in the video also does things that could damage the screen (as a test) but the screen isn't real so it isn't an accurate test. Especially when the screen is one of the biggest concerns of durability in this particular device.
Idk why everyone is hating on this guy. 1. Yes it is a dummy phone but they are built about the same on the exterior. 2. As a person who loves knowing how shit works i feel intrigued on doing stuff like this (not to my z flip 3 thoe because i love it!!) 3. He's having fun and showing you the durability of the outside for those who casually drop their phone every now and then and freak out. He pretty much proved that unless you're taking a hammer and beating the shit out of it on purpose then it should be fine. RELAX PEOPLE and enjoy yourselves, show some love. Theres way too many people who are bitter and angry all the time and enjoy talking shit.
This test was very disorganized. My suggestion is to be more systematic, moving through each section and escalating in severity, instead of randomly bashing it.
Also, on the Samsung z flip3, when the screen is opened, the cover screen turns off, and that screen should be dead or severely damaged after he hammers the hinge.
Just showing a phone being brutally broken for no reason instead of showing something useful for people whom would like to see common problems like letting the phone fall on the floor, what could scratch the screen, sand, etc.
Was hoping you would have shown real situations to where out phone would come in contact with. Like put the phone in a bag with coins and shake it,. This would show how coins effect the phone if it's in our pocket then. Then maybe with a key,. Scratching the screen with different pic strengths so we know what to be careful with. Think I'm good I don't bash my phone with a hammer or scrape it with a knife
Seems more that he need it to take his frustration out on something and the phone was the only thing at reach... does not show screen result and the silence only reinforces my belief on that. 😕
lol the video is like 7 minutes and the time on the phone stays at 12:45 for the whole video, kinda looks like it's legit phone and not a dummy. Dummy would be the one who made this video.
Clickbait. This is clearly a display phone and not once did you meaningfully show the damage after common drops or coin damage, or show the screen at any point in time at all. There might me a market for extremely aggressive phone destructions but at least be open about that
Don't worry it was fake, but you wouldn't know that from the title of the video, the description or even the video itself unless you noticed the time stayed the same. Which we didnt really get to see the screen for SOME reason.

Where's the durability test? That's just destroying a phone
That is testing
*fake phone
@@bogartmotomoto8222 it’s not. Every phone would break when doing that.

You can tell that it’s plastic instead of glass
Been looking a durability test. It's been out over a wk, and this is the only one. Could you do a follow on the main screen please

@Ct pizza it's called a fake phone
@Ct pizza mate the clock didn't change the screen when you did see it didn't change when he touched it. That phone was 100% not a working phone. It was a display phone.

it's not a real phone, even the clock hasn't changed 😂 it's just a figure that is usually used for display in a cellphone shop
Right
😂 I can't help but laugh at the actual pain that I feel watching this😢
It's a fake phone

This guy has so much anger inside lol
All these scratches on the back isn't really necessary. It's the front I want to know about.
First I was wondering why I never saw the front on the main topic .... at the constant clock- time of 12 : 45 it became clear and confirmed to me ....
You destroyed a display model with no working internals. The back wouldnt normally be plastic
This dude wants to be therelaxingend and techrax so bad but can't even afford a real z flip. Poor guy
7:18 video lenght,still 12:45 dummy flip hahahahahahahah

The phones a fake the tike remains same throughout the video
did it have the original or aftermarket screen protector ?
Great video, I'll be sure not to buy a dummy model.
This is a mock phone, not a real one. Glass doesn’t scratch from a razor blade, not hard enough.
Also, on the Samsung z flip3, when the screen is opened, the cover screen turns off, and that screen should be dead or severely damaged after he hammers the hinge.
Total fake test....This is a dummy phone.
Proof : youtuber is trying to hide the screen as much as possible

So fake. The time on the phone doesn’t even change😂
I gotta make sure I don't accidentally hit the phone with my hammer multiple times.
This durability test is like mentally ill people wants to let out a growl 🤣
FAKE, this is clearly a demo phone. the exterior doesnt crack like glass at all. the screens are printed, the TIME DOESNT CHANGE
