Godspeed is a series of different yoyo tricks put together for speed . You can go front style or side style . The only thing required is speed and some of the tricks that are done that way need a pointer finger open to help with the tricks . As why most yoyoers recommend people put it on the middle finger

Should it matter if you’re left or right handed when whipping the string into the Yoyo?
Hi I’m new to yo-yoing and when I throw my yo-yo to do dna it always gets bumpy and when that happens it’s really hard to land in your finger
You list XP points for this like in the app, but I don’t see any DNA tricks in the app? I’m on iPhone and running most current update…am I missing something? I need my xp points for the level up haha

how would you compare the winter solstice to the Ethos?
They are pretty different. The Winter Solstice is wider, a little lighter so it plays faster, and better for finger spins.

Make sure whatever you get, it's got a concave area in the center hub for your finger tip. For finger spins
When I dna the yoyo eats up the bind too fast any tips
Keep your hand away from the yoyo. Also, don't throw so hard.
Hey Adam, I just got the oracle 2 handed pack, and after changing the string and applying lube to both of them, one of them loops easy but the other lags at the end of the string. Do I need to develop better technique or was the yo-yo possibly damaged in shipping
Sometimes the bearing just needs a bit more lube. I would lube it again and see if it starts playing more like the other yoyo.

is the winter solstice good for a first unresponsive yoyo other than the sage
I got both the winter solstice and the summer solstice, and the winter is better for more fast and intricate tricks, while the summer is better for tricks overall with a longer spin and more stability. Hope that helps!
The Winter Solstice would be a good first unresponsive yoyo. It is on the wide side so it will be easy to get on and off the string, and it is one of the easiest metal yoyos I have ever tried for learning finger spins.

The spin will die almost immediately
Some yoyos are designed to spin for a long time against your skin making tricks like this easier to do.

When I try to put it on the palm of my hand it stops immediately could you tell me why?
It could be you're not throwing it hard enough. It might also be that the finish on the yoyo is not good for grinds like this. What kind of yoyo is it?
The kind of yoyo I have is a watieoboo
That yoyo looks like it has a shiny finish. If that is the case it will not be great for tricks like this. The Solstice yoyo we used in this video has a matte finish which works much better for grind tricks.
