Proof that he’s an anime character:
    1. Has the “jo-jo” spin attack
    2. Wears a Japanese clothes
    3. Is Japanese
    4. Has a Spiky hairstyle
    5. And most importantly, he has an opening.
Edit: I forgot that he uses a Yo-yo thus making him a Joestar

To those who's like: "Meh, seen better" or "He sucks". Take into consideration that he's matching the techniques used here to sync with the BGM. It's a performance or art for inspiration and ideas. Not a show-off talent of who can do jaw-dropping tricks. When you can mix your line of work with other arts, you create something that can be motivational/inspiring and be considered as "beautiful" work or "level of awesomeness".

As a performance that was brilliant! People need to keep in mind that while some of the tricks may not have seemed all that difficult, to incorporate all those moves into a routine to fit with the music and then pull them all off without fail takes a huge amount of practice and concentration. While you may have seen better tricks elsewhere, they were probably done one at time and not up on stage in front of many people. If he's been the world champion twice he probably has much more difficult tricks that probably didn't fit into the brilliant Japanese samurai performance. I just hope one day I can find something that I can be that passionate about, mad respect to this man who went as far as learning another language just to perform and bring his talent to another country.

Late reply but there is a dark side to Japan. They have a high suicide rate and are usually overworked :/ it's really depressing.. A lot of what's real in Japan is sugarcoated and romantasized.

This is amazing. It's rare to see a person with so much passion and it reflects it on not just his performance but also in his eyes.
As an artist myself. I am at the stage where I start to doubt myself if I could make a living on my drawings alone.
Watching this, made me learn something. If this guy gets to go places just because of his yoyo, then why can't I do the same with my arts.

OH MY GOD! I'm ON TEARS! this video reminds me of the first day of my yoyo, a wooden yoyo. this video reminds me of the day that I train with my friends.. some of them were passed away. and this video reminds me of the people that disrespected me for not playing football. just because I choose yoyo.
The biggest regret in my life, I choose to listen to people to not playing yoyo. what a mistake. I really miss this vibe.
