Step 5: Create a 90° loop at the corners, then run the LED Strip towards the next corner. Repeat this step until you have gone around the entire TV
Step 6: Go back over and make sure the LED Strip is flat along the entire installation path, while also pressing down on the LED Strip with your fingers to make sure the adhesive is sticking on firmly.
Step 7: Once you reach the starting point, cut off the excess LED Strip at the designated cutting mark. This will be marked by copper lines with a scissor icon.
Step 8: Connect the power supply to the IR receiver (white box connector)
Step 9: Connect the IR receiver to the LED Strip, making sure the arrow at the connectors is aligned.
Step 10. Plug in, and enjoy the show!
I'm not the type of guy that gets overly critical when it comes to the RUclips video but I can't figure out for the life of me why you decided to add a blur effect when creating the corner loops. To me that was the most important part of the video.
Lol .true.. sadly I didn't notice until you said something I had to go back and rewatch it.. 😂
I could be wrong, but I got the impression it was the camera “autofocusing”, not a deliberate adding of a blur effect. A bit annoying, but still a very helpful video.
I’m not the type of girl who gets overly critical. But it’s bizarre that people don’t know what “out of focus” is, not blur ‘effect’
The autofocus was overly used for some strange reason. I almost clicked thumbs down, but it didn't continue. WHEW that was close.
Nice job. Thank you I had never done this before so this really helped me with the corners.
This is the first time I saw someone making the kind of loop. Great.
OMG thank you so much. I have been paralyzed with fear because doing this kind of thing absolutely freaks me out. It’s just not my thing. Your video was simple and straightforward. You didn’t use a bunch of words or anything. You just did it and now I get it I think I can do this now. Not a bunch of soldering irons or anything else. Thank you, thank you thank you
Now I think I might have the confidence to try installing an LED strip under cabinets, etc.
Signed a dumb grandma
lol granny
That twist was my answer 🤣 thanks
Came for the video, stayed for the dope beat.
So the important bit...the folding of the corner goes in and out of focus ..great work !
Thanks 🙏 for this bro 😎 this really helps me out a lot I always put it on the side of my tv 📺 too but I think the back of it looks better though and I have the Onn Led Lights Strip too
thanks for the video bro, big help
PS: wish the corner thing didnt get out of focus or you took another shot at it in focus. still good vid
What is that tv size and how long of a strip did you end up needing?
This video was the most helpful to me. I got my lights up on the back of the TV. I plug them into the wall and they are not hooked up to the TV… And yet… Whenever I use the remote control it mutes my sound bar or turns off my TiVo box. LOL
Thanks for the video because I cut my first LED lights because it said you can cut it to fit and I thought they were saying you could cut it to make the curve and half the lights worked.
if you cut the led strip you need to buy the corner connectors.
I wouldn't press the corners as he did. It could cause a break in the line.
That's really cool, thanks
Glad it helped
I have an 86 inch TV already mounted and it takes 3 people to lift it... is there a way to this while it's on the way already
No
you should of done it before you put it on the wall lol
I'm guessing that LED Strip's longevity on the back of the TV is confirmed? Like won't nit start peeling of the back as the TV gets hotter or something? I mean not instantly but eventually...Say it does happen, how do you now work around it next time you apply new LED Strips?
or if the back of tv gets hit by the sun during the day or something...good point.
Thank you!
Wish I could’ve seen how you made the loop
He shows it multiple times. Watch the whole video.
Why are you putting the leds on the outside?
Thanks for the video 👌
How to Remove the tv from the wall because i couldn't.....i tried to pull up but nothing happened...plz help me guyzzz
Can you also but it on one colour? Like just blue for example
Yep.
Thank you very useful :)))
The rest half strip that you chopped, can those be used?
You can still use it theres conectors all the way of the strip.
@@garnotgaming hey bro. Can you explain it in more detail. Because i really want to understand it correctly. If you cut off the what can you do with it?
It would mean a lot if you can help me:)
Thanks
@@simongregersen235 look videos on youtube for exemple type "how to connect led strips" in search bar its hard for me to explain in here
Okay thanks🤟👍
what size is your tv?
thanks
I have just purchased a 65" TV. Would you know the length of a single strip light I would need to apply it too?
400cm strip is required. Go for 4mtr led strip
@@kartechindustries3069 I have allready installed numerous strips in my man-cave. -Everything except the back of my TV. I don't see the need to light up behind my TV.
Then why ask?
@@joshfulcifan1015Then why are you here watching an installation video 😂😂

Lmao, I have the same TV and I was pretty surprised to see it as the example. LG 49in 4K TV that I got free on black Friday with my LG phone.
Thanks brah!
Mine still well not light up
I didnt get the plug
My Roku stream stick already uses the USB port on my TV. Now what do I do?
I'm having the same problem here :( did you find any solution?
@@alejandracampos6929 I might just either use a sub port expander or run the lights off a power strip on the floor. I dont see an alternative.
You'll have to get a USB dongle with multiple ports. $10 on amazon
@@thatguymork I plugged it in to the surge protector strip on the floor..works fine. Thanks!
I twisted the LEDs on the corners like you, and it unfortunately broke
His strip seems paper thin. Mine is thicker
@@SeymourKitty…that’s what she said! 🤪

Great video but I was seeking a tutorial on installing a new LED back lighting inside my TV. The last thing I want to see is behind my TV ... cob webs and spiders!
