Nice catch! Very nice seeing those articulated racks again. What you mentioned about crews timing out is really what concerns me, especially with how 243 has been so late frequently. In a way, I was glad 243 had the higher priority than 18D yesterday.
@@joshpack7330 Thanks Josh. They wouldn’t have to worry about crews timing out if they weren’t forced to run with TO or EM the whole way! Unfortunately upper management on NS is just so unbelievably frugal on spending money on locomotive fuel.
@anscrailfanner6812 I'll be real happy when the time comes when someone talks since to this management, and teach them how to PROPERLY run a railroad. These modern units don't even burn much fuel as the older engines did when they were still road power, as you don't need lots of engines to haul an averaged sized train. Ha, if the older units were still standard road power, and had these "enhancements", them trains might stall out lol.
