    I just love having accessories that are helpful for cooking! This funnel looks great for the blackstone! Now the only thing I need to do is still get a blackstone....Hahahha. I am not going to enter since I don't have one YET. Great review my friend!!! Super Congratulations on reaching 11K subs Kevin!!!

      Thank you, Karen! Yes once you do, you'll wish you got one sooner 😀 So far, this funnel is working as described. One thing I don't really like is having to scrape the chunks to the side, but it's just a matter of getting used to. I hope you have a wonderful day! Aloha!🌴

    I just happened to see your video on the new grease trap. I am going to be getting me a 36-inch Blackstone griddle. And I was planning on putting it into an outside kitchen. And I was wondering how I was going to get to my grease trap. This video that you just showed is going to help me tremendously. Thank you so much for doing this review.

      Congratulations, and thank you for checking this out! I've had this on my Blackstone since this video. I run the hose to the front and use one of those grease buckets for pellet grills. If you already griddle, the only thing you have to change is only pushing the grease out the back and just remove the bits as they won't go through the holes. I hope you have an awesome day!👍✌️

    That GREASE FUNNEL would work perfectly on my 36" Blackstone Griddle. Really like your Blackstone Griddle Kevin I have the Wal-Mart 36". Not fancy but works good. I usually clean my tray by putting the grease on a double store bag and throw it in my trash can. With the set-up that you just showed us it would be easier because it would take a long time to fill up a bucket. I also need to get me some wind guards because my shelves do get hot. Thanks Kevin for showing this products. Have a great day 👍

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  Год назад +1

      Thanks, Robert! Yep, I picked mine up at Walmart too! And sometimes I'll dispose of the grease the same way, but I'll add a few paper towels to my bag. I like the idea of the grease funnel and it seems to work pretty good. One person mentioned how it might not work so well in the winter, so we'll see. You definitely need some wind guards, it makes a world of a difference! And they are pretty affordable too. If nothing else, I have a shorts video showing how to make them with those disposable cookie pans. Anyway, good luck and I hope you have an awesome weekend!👍✌️

    My thoughts - if you have an issue forgetting to empty your grease trap you're gonna forget the bucket too, just on a bigger scale.
    You will knock that loose removing the cover also.

      @Mankitchenrecipes  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for checking this out! I don't empty the regular grease tray after every cook... But I never forget to. You just have to be extra careful putting on and taking off your cover. The lid doesn't interfere. This new design works pretty well! Its slimline prevents it from getting knocked off, plus it has a couple of magnets to help hold it in place. So far, it works as advertised. I hope you have a great day!👍✌️

    • @dougbowen4685
      @dougbowen4685 9 месяцев назад +1

      Plus, as the grease travels down that tube it will cool off and stick to the tube. That’s going to create a blockage in very little time. The longer the tube, the faster it will happen.
      And how do you propose to clean that tube out?

      Thanks for checking this out! This grease funnel has been on my Blackstone ever since this video, and it works great! I have it drain into a bucket like on my pellet grills. That way, the grease isn't there so long it starts to smell. The only thing you have to get used to is to move the bits to one side and push the grease out the back. I just use my spatula to remove the bits. I hope you have an awesome day!👍✌️

    Looks like a nice accessory for catching grease. Grease can be messy for sure and I know what you mean about Blackstone’s grease management system. The grease does tend to dribble down between the firebox and grease tray. Looks like Sivsis may have helped on this issue. Only draw back I see is when you scrap and cleanup we usually tend to push all the junk leftover with the grease and out the back it all goes. I would definitely try this out. Not sure it fits the Culinary model as I found unfortunately with the 36” wind guards. 😢 So yeah I empty my grease when I’m cooking outdoors on the weekend on Sunday night because I leave for work on Mondays and don’t cook at home throughout the week. I throw my grease out in our burn cage. So…”GREASE is the word” 🎵🎶🎼 from the musical Grease right? 😂 I’m betting I used the word grease more than anyone else. 😂😮🎉

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  Год назад +1

      🤣 Yes from the musical 🤪🤣 And definitely the most so far, Brian!😁 I agree. Cleaning the grill might be an issue... I hear they may make another one that allows that??? But until then, it is working pretty nice. I did some smashburgers the other night at my sister in laws and scrapings from smashburgers can be a lot! So, we'll see. I'll have to scrape into a pile I guess. I hope you're having an awesome holiday weekend, you know I am! Aloha!🌴

      Oh boy, I would imagine a 5 gallon full would smell! I use the aluminum inserts for pellet grills. Works great! Thanks for checking this out, and I hope you have an awesome day!

      Thanks for checking this out! As long as the oil doesn't melt the milk jug, that would work great! Have an awesome day!👍
