Anyway, they do research and when I was old enough they said your channel was appropriate for me. (I would love to teach ESL children someday and your videos have given me a heart for Ukraine.) Our neighborhood has some churches where Christians can hear preaching/teaching with brothers and sisters from Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, etc. One of my Dad's mentors from school is from East Europe and teaches him not take freedom of religion lightly. He tells of how dangerous it was to be baptized into the Church during communism. I think it is wise for agricultural land to be for natural born Ukrainian citizens first. I have been studying Ukraine for a few years and pray for my friends and family there. I have a collection of Mychailo Wynnyckyj's daily journals collected in a book just published in English about Ukraine and books by historian Serhii Plokhy who is the Ukrainian professor at Harvard University. bye for now! It’s a universal ideaology not just contained to the UK. Supply and demand also has that affect on pricing of land. People will want to live in a cosmopolitan city with access to certain amenities and standards of living. You would really be a dumb ass if you were to go and buy land in Ukraine simply because it’s cheap, yet the land won’t produce a tangible return on investment . . Unless you what to grow a few vegetables to trade it for wood or coal with your neighbours to stay warm in the harsh winters. Or If you were interested in building some sort of commune and living disconnected from the rest of the world.
I know each place has its own specifics. But please do a video about what, if any, property taxes (% of land value etc) and other on-going costs that are attached to owning a house/property in Ukraine. Can a person who is not a Ukrainian citizen own a house/property if they have the property tax documents etc.

Good and useful information. May I suggest a few words we use in America to describe things regarding real estate? We refer to specific sections of land as "lots". So those areas of land you see outlined in descriptions are "lots". Electricity, gas, water and sewers are called "utilities". Restrictions on land use such as residential or commercial etc. we say "zoned". A lot or parcel of land may be "zoned" for residential use. Zoning is a word referring to "zones" defined on a map that then have "zoning laws" that describe and limit how they can be used. In America, zoning laws are controlled by individual States and by local government. They can be very specific sometimes. For example, the size of a house and how tall it is or even the style may be limited. Often, these laws can be changed through a lot of effort, if it is deemed that the change would benefit the community. Generally speaking, the more densely an area is populated, the more restrictive the laws.

It's about argicultural land. Argiculture is important in Ukraine. They likely want to keep a certain control of the argicultural land and how it's used. China coming in with an investment, using farmland for what it is intended, growing stuff, and naturally also creating lots of jobs. Vs foregin individuals buying up farmland to likely use it as a 'holiday retreat'. But the laws are not perfectly clear and logic
